Your Character in Untameable is the main protagonist of the Untameable series.
Although her/his default name is "Barrett Steele", the player can choose to name her/him as they wish.
Appearance
The appearance of your character is up to the player.
If Untameable has not been completed, the default character model used in Unbridled is Body Type 1, Face 3.
Personality
Although specific traits can be determined by the player, you are a fresh graduate from university with a degree in agricultural business, who has come home to work on and later save your family ranch. You can try to appease your brother or argue with him about the way he treats you, but for the most part, you do what you are told because you know it's in the best interest of the ranch itself.
Background
When you were a child and your brother was in high school, your parents passed away unexpectedly. Unbeknownst to you at the time, their passing left a huge burden on your brother because he wanted to manage the family ranch and keep you with him instead of let you go to foster care. To pay off the debt the ranch had accumulated under your parents, your brother sold his prize car and lied to you that Kit had crashed it when you realized it was gone. He also had to prove to the state that he was a suitable guardian for you, making sure you were taken care of physically and emotionally, and that your schoolwork did not suffer.
Once you graduated high school, he sent you to university because he wanted you to fulfill your dreams and not be burdened by the reality of the ranch's business. He knew you were the smart and capable one of the family and wanted you to thrive.

Relationships
Kit Jackson
Kit Jackson is your love interest. In the beginning, Kit fights his/her attraction towards you in respect for your brother and it is your choice whether or not to fight it yourself or to flirt and try to romance Kit. In each progressive chapter, you have the opportunity to flirt with Kit until your attraction comes to a boiling point where neither of you can fight it any longer.
Austin
Austin is your older brother. Both he and Kit call you "Pip" as in "pipsqueak", a nickname from childhood. When you arrive home after graduating university, you are eager to help the ranch and take some of the responsibility off of Austin. However, he still views you as a child and it takes him a while to open up to you about the ranch's financial troubles. He explains that he took big risks that did not pan out and ended up losing the ranch money.
In Chapter 6, if you decide to help, you suggest renting out one of your mares to Mrs. Wilkerson who teaches horseback riding. You also notice that he pays for supplies more often than needed, and convince him to talk to the ranch's supplier to gain credit for what was not received.
Mandy Martinez
Mandy is your best friend from college. Even if you try to hide your feelings, she can tell that you are attracted to Kit Jackson and that your feelings have developed past the physical. If asked, she will act as a buffer or distraction between you and your brother, giving you time to sneak away with Kit.
In Unbridled Chapter 3, you tell Unbridled's MC that you have known Mandy forever.
Your Character (Unbridled)
You meet Unbridled's MC in Chapter 3. After dinner, you two talk about Ryder and Mandy. In that conversation, you tell him/her that he/she is what both of them need.
Ryder Wilson
In Unbridled Chapter 3, you tell Unbridled's MC that you known Ryder for only a while.

- If the default name is kept, he/she will share the same name as Barrett Carlisle from The Heist: Monaco.
- The book reuses three male faces from the Open Heart series and three female faces from It Lives Beneath.
- You graduated college with a degree in agricultural business.
- You are a terrible cook.
- If you choose the premium scene in Chapter 9 it is revealed you were involved with someone who wasn't from Thunder Valley and they broke your heart.
