Background
When your mother was in college, she visited Monterre, and met your father in the city's royal conservatory. He swept her off her feet in a short-lived fling, and changed her life.
You grew up in a small town near Cleveland, Ohio, where you attended university and were at the top of your class. Last fall, you transferred to Julivert University as an exchange student. There you joined the Delta Theta Deltas, and continued your major in history. Like your mother, you are drawn to the conservatory and go there often when you feel like your life is lacking.

Relationships
Princess Julivert
You meet Princess Julivert in Chapter 1 where you both are surprised by how identical you two look to each other. When the princess suggests you switch places for a few days, you agree and feel as if you can accomplish more in her position than your own as a student.
In Chapter 3, you two meet up again at the conservatory to switch back. However, after thinking about all the new experiences you two experienced as each other over the past few days, the princess suggests to continue the switch for the rest of the semester and you agree. As you live each other's lives, you text her whenever you have questions or problems, or to catch up on the events that have transpired.
Faye
Faye is your roommate and best friend during your year at Julivert University.
Aveline
Aveline is the princess's best friend, who helps you navigate your way through court. At times, she teases you about your feelings towards Clarke.
King Edmond
After you switch places with the princess, you spend more time with King Edmond. During this time, you piece together that he is your biological father whom your mother had a romance with years ago when she herself was studying at Julivert University. In Chapter 18 when your identity is revealed, he claims you as part of the royal family and as a princess in your own right.

- The default first name Daisy refers to the flower of same name. The flower's name comes from Old English's dægeseage meaning "day's eye."[1]
