Your Character in The Phantom Agent is the main protagonist of The Phantom Agent book.

Although her/his/their default name is "Elliot Jones", the player can choose to name her/him/them as they wish.

Appearance

The appearance of your character is up to the player.

Personality

You can be quite cocky and very flirtatious. You’re confident in your skills and very loyal to GAIA. You frequently use your charm during your missions. Based on the initial mission in Greece and your initial encounter with Agent Gray, you also have a competitive side. After the failed mission in which your ex and former partner Rowan allegedly died, you prefer to work on your own.

Relationships

Rowan Salazar

You two were partners, professionally for 5 years and romantically for an unspecified amount of time, and worked well together. You are deeply saddened by his/her apparent death, even going as far as refusing a partner for the next year. However, you always keep his/her necklace close which was a gift from you in celebration of first mission in Morocco[1]. In Chapter 11, you are shocked after finding out that he/she is alive and is The Contractor.

Despite his/her betrayal, it is shown he/she still cares for you, and apologizes for keeping you in the dark about everything. He/She tries to convince you to join The Architect's side.

Agent Gray

He/She is your new partner, much to your displeasure. You first meet him/her at the shooting range and can engage in a competition.

Trivia

  • A Body Type 2 version of your character is shown on the cover of The Phantom Agent.
  • The book reuses three male faces from the Open Heart series and three female faces from The Heist: Monaco.
  • If the default first name is kept, he/she/they will share the same first name as Elliot Vance from It Lives Beneath and Elliot Langdon from Passport to Romance.
  • If the default surname is kept, he/she/they will share the same surname as Kristin Jones from Nightbound, Zeke Jones from Save the Date, and Eve Jones from First Comes Love.
  • One of the default hairstyles in body type 1 is reused from Cassidy Carhart.
  • A premium chapter 3 scene says that this character encountered a lackey of the Five and gotten a scar on collarbone.
  • In Chapter 3 if "Nothing we can't handle" is selected, it is mentioned that some people you stopped from accomplishing world domination prior to the events of the story include The Vanguard, Dr. Venom, and Chief Reilly.
  • In a premium Chapter 7 scene, you can show one of two fighting moves. One was picked up during a mission in Santiago from a Chilean rebel. The other was picked up in Morocco.
  • A potential Chapter 14 comment says that you learned a certain move from a pilot in Vietnam.
