Although her default name is "Aneesa St. James", the player can choose to name her as they wish.

Personality
You consider yourself to an eccentric film student. You used to be a studious and serious person focused on studying and on always obeying the rules, but once you start university and meet new people, you try to open up yourself to new experiences such as university life, partying, pranks, and flirting. Juggling both of these lifestyles is very challenging for you, which causes you to clash with people in your life such as your best friend Samira who believes that you are not acting like yourself anymore. A lot of other people such as Roommate, Inez and Dutch consider you inexperienced, and Roommate specifically believes that there is more to you than what you claim and appear to be. At times you are also very flirty, and you claim that you aren't as innocent as some people think.

He/She is your love interest. At the beginning of the book, you try to resist him/her, but you eventually fall for him/her and confess your feelings. Although he/she panics and runs away at first, he/she later confesses his/her feelings too, and you two become a couple.

Trivia
- A version of your character is shown on the cover of Roommates with Benefits.
- The book reuses one face each from Open Heart, It Lives Beneath and A Courtesan of Rome.
- The sneak peek advertised three new faces, but only Face 1 turned out to be new when the game released. Pixelberry referred to this as a miscommunication and said that the unused new faces would appear in future books.
- One of the new faces was later used for your character from Guarded, and the other was used for your character from Along Came Treble.
- If the default surname is kept, she will share her surname with Leland St. James from the Red Carpet Diaries series and Chloe St. James from the Queen B series.
- You are given the nickname "Baby Bird" in Chapter 1, with Inez using the Spanish version of the name. Originally this was rendered incorrectly as "Pajarito," the masculine form of the word, but on May 5, 2023 this had been corrected to the feminine "Pajarita."
- The "Goodie Two Shoes" outfit is a recolor of the Body Type 1 version of the "Headliner" outfit available to your character from Foreign Affairs.
