Choices: Stories You Play Wiki

Your Character in High School Story: Class Act is the main protagonist of the High School Story spinoff series, High School Story: Class Act.

Although his/her default name is "Bailey Jenkins", the player can choose to name him/her as they wish. The player can also choose the gender of the character.

Appearance

Your appearance is customizable according to the player's preferences. You can choose gender, skin tone and facial features, and hairstyle. You have a closet available to change your wardrobe.

Personality

Your character is generally optimistic, contrasting against Danielle, Skye and Ajay's regular demeanors. S/he is idealistic and romantic with a tendency to be shy and awkward around his/her love interests. S/he is less outgoing than the twin—who is presented as more popular and outgoing.

S/he can lack confidence. In Chapter 1, it’s mentioned that s/he made a fuss over the play last year only to not try out due to shyness. Your Character begins the book with not many friends and eats lunch alone if you don’t choose the premium option in Chapter 1. S/he becomes more confident throughout the book as s/he gains friends.

Moreover, s/he is generally helpful and accepting of others, even being kind to Danielle in Chapter 13 when she sits alone at lunch. S/he tends to be thoughtful and sweet, being a great and supportive friend to others.

Relationships

Twin Sibling

You and your twin are close friends. You can confide in your twin about your crush(es) and reciprocate when your twin has troubles with Amber. Your twin also has helped you choose premium outfits in the store. When you are framed for Your Character (High School Story)'s injury, you have the option to spend time with your twin in an escape room. No matter what, your twin has your back. In Book 2, your twin asks you to help with his/her campaign when your twin runs for student body president.

Rory Silva

Rory is your next door neighbor and is one of your love interests. In Book 1, you are cast opposite Rory's knight in The Enchanted Kingdom. When you are framed for Your Character (HSS)'s injury, Rory is one of your few friends who believes that you didn't do it. Regardless of your feelings towards Rory, he/she has a crush on you but will only pursue you if you reciprocate his/her feelings. You can have your first real kiss with Rory in Chapter 15.

In Book 2, Rory asks you to help with his/her campaign when Rory runs for student body president.

In Book 3, you co-star alongside Rory in the spring musical "The Tempest: The Musical".

Skye Crandall

Skye is one of your love interests. She at first intimidates Your Character due to her emotionless first impression. While she hangs around the theatre group, she doesn't speak much and is closed off. However, she will become more friendly and open around you. In a premium scene in Book 1, Chapter 3, you can listen to her talk about being Brian's sister. She reveals to you that she pushes everyone away because she doesn't want to be associated with him. You encourage her to open up to the theatre group about it, to which they disclose that they already knew and didn't care. Skye is also one of the few people who sticks up for Your Character when s/he is accused of sabotaging the audition, and follows you outside to comfort you with Erin. She is more aloof in the friend group but continues to demonstrate that she cares about and values Your Character's friendship. You can have your first kiss with her in Book 1, Chapter 15, which will be her first kiss as well.

Ajay Bhandari

Ajay is one of your love interests and the director of the play you are in. You can have your first kiss with him in Book 1, Chapter 15.

Danielle

Danielle dislikes you due to her having a crush on Rory and losing the role of the prince/princess to you. You can choose to forgive her after she is deeply remorseful towards the end of Book 1.

Your Character (HSS)

You meet Your Character (High School Story) during auditions for "The Enchanted Kingdom" at the beginning of the school year. When Your Character (HSS) is injured as a result of a prop you placed on the stage, some of the theater students accuse you of sabotaging his/her audition. Your Character (HSS) sticks up for you, never believing you would do such a thing. Later, Your Character (HSS) invites you to his/her house to meet his/her friends, who also don't believe you're capable of sabotage. They are happy for you when the air is cleared.

In the spring, Your Character (HSS) and his/her friends audition for "The Tempest: The Musical" and hang out with you and the rest of the cast. No matter Your Character (HSS)'s gender, he/she lands the part of Prospero, your character's father. From this point, he/she jokes about being your father even when the play is over.
