Blake Marshall
You met Blake on your first day at Clark University in 2011, where Marcelino forced your hand up during orientation to partner with him/her in a pair of challenges to get to know your fellow students. You two became best friends, and witnessed each other have other romantic relationships and fail. One time during your university years, you two promised that if you were not married to other people by the age of thirty, you two would marry each other. Although Blake has turned thirty himself/herself and has not brought up the long-ago promise, you are turning thirty soon yourself and have thought about it. Before you can confess your feelings to Blake, he/she introduces Rebecca to you, his/her newest girlfriend, and you stop yourself from blurting out your feelings.
You can either openly flirt with Blake and try to outright derail his/her relationship with Rebecca, or hide your feelings as best as possible and remain neutral. Whichever you choose, Blake still flirts with you and you still have internal thoughts about how you feel about him/her, how you're a better match for him/her, and how Rebecca doesn't know him/her like you do. In Chapter 8, when you and your friends meet Sky and his/her friends, you have the opportunity to make Blake jealous by openly flirting with Sky or just give yourself the chance to get to know Sky himself/herself. Regardless of your choice, Blake tells you that he/she has seen enough of your past relationships to know that you and Sky would not work out in the long run. Sky can also sense the feelings that you and Blake share, despite the fact that Blake is in a relationship with Rebecca. Sky tells you that he/she hopes you two work out and has no hard feelings towards you.
Marcelino Bautista
Lino is one of your best friends from college, and serves as your main confidant and cheerleader during your friends' trip with Blake and Rebecca. He encourages you to sabotage Blake and Rebecca's relationship, or at the very least, cheers you up when you feel discouraged if you do not actively pursue Blake.

Just as you decide that this will be the trip where you confess your feelings to Blake, you are introduced to Rebecca, Blake's new girlfriend. It is your choice to attempt to sabotage their relationship or try to help and get to know her better. Whichever you choose and whether or not you try to hide your feelings, in Chapter 5, she confronts you and tells you that she knows that you're in love with Blake and you're trying to make Blake fall for you. She tells you that she won't let that happen. Regardless of your actions towards her or Blake, they break up at the end of Chapter 11.
