Your Character in Bloodbound is the main protagonist in the Bloodbound series.
Although her default name is "Amy", the player can choose to name her as they wish.
Appearance[]
Your appearance is customizable according to the player's preferences.
Personality[]
In general, you are curious, clever, perceptive, adventurous, as well as “fierce and compassionate... and far braver than” you appear. The rest of your personality is determined by your choices. You can be flirty or professional; you can be feisty or obedient and apologetic or somewhere in-between. You are empathetic towards the less fortunate Clanless vampires, and willing to fight to defend yourself and those you care about. When you are thrown into the world of vampires and other supernatural beings, you are not frightened.
Adrian Raines describes you as being "capable of bravery beyond anyone else. Capable of kindness in the world of cruelty. And capable of hope in the face of the impossible." Lily Spencer describes you as empathetic, as you would "cry at a sad ending of a romance show. And smile when [you] pet a puppy." Kamilah and Jax understand your pain and how pain can shape someone into a monster, but that your strength makes you a source of hope for the group.
StoryLoom Description[]
"As a small-town girl living in the big city, Amy is an outsider in the world of the supernatural. Despite this, she manages to display bravery and compassion that make her stand out from the crowd."[1]
Background[]
You grew up in a small town full of meadows, where you owned a pony and remember riding her with the warmth of the sunlight on your face. Although your Bloodkeeper abilities began to manifest when you were young, you dismissed them as dreams and suppressed memories of them - and of your mother's abilities[2] - at the time. Your mother suffered from debilitating headaches, and you would prepare tea for her. You spent most of your life there before taking the risk to leave everything behind and move to New York City. Your parents weren't thrilled by your decision, but they were still supportive; and they constantly text you every morning just to make sure you’re "still alive".
A year ago, you graduated college with a Bachelor Degree in Communications, then interned at Mannon Financial, before volunteering in San Trobida for a year[3]. Before gaining employment with Raines Corporation, you were struggling financially. Your previous jobs offered little income and your savings were drying up. You remember bonding with Lily when she bought you ten different kinds of pizza to make up for eating your last slice of leftover pizza[4]. You also know how to enjoy New York on the cheap side, your favorite hole-in-the-wall diner serving breakfast for less than three dollars[5].
Biography[]
Book 1[]
Introduction to the Vampire world[]
After your first day as Adrian Raines's Executive Assistant, you realize you forgot to give him a vial of mandrake extract that the archive clerk had handed to you. When you return to his office after hours, you find him feeding off Nicole Anderson, his Vice President, and he confirms that he is indeed a vampire. Nicole is insistent that you be "debriefed" but Adrian allows you time to process the information and answers your questions. He takes you along when he visits Priya Lacroix at her club, and later when you two make your way to the library, you watch him kill a Feral. All of this is unnerving but also exciting and you feel that now you have purpose: to help him and be a part of the world that he is in. You tell him that you do not consent to having your memories erased by Scholar Jameson and he allows you to keep them.
Lily's Turning[]
After meeting and escaping The Baron and his men, you return to your apartment to find Lily attacked. Your screams draw Adrian to your side, and you ask him to save her life by Turning her. He is reluctant but does so for you. Unbeknownst to you, she was attacked by Scholar Jameson and her attack and Turning triggers the cascading events that lead to dissent amongst the Council members and subsequent powerplay.
Because Adrian has no vacancies in his Clan, he must petition the Council to vote to approve Lily for a future spot. If the majority votes against her, they would kill her as per their rules. Therefore, you and Adrian seek to secure Adam Vega and Priya's votes because Adrian believes Lester Castellanos and the Baron would vote no to spite him. Adrian buys Adam's vote by contributing to his campaign fund but Priya is not interested and votes no out of pettiness. The Baron surprises everyone by voting yes, implicitly telling Adrian to drop his investigation into the Feral uprising. It is a small victory for you and your friends, but you enjoy the calm before the storm. Adrian brings you into his confidence and reveals to you his serum - still in its testing phases - but one that shows promise to reverse the biochemical blood abnormalities that vampires have. If successful, he hopes that it will make him human again.
Jax and the Clanless[]
When Marcel Lafayette's Awakening Ball in upstate New York turns into a launched Feral attack, you and Lily go into hiding. Jax Matsuo brings you to the Shadow Den and there you meet the rest of the Clanless and learn more about them. He hypothesizes the attack will cause a Clan War and is correct as the Council holds a tribunal.
Adam Vega's Power Play[]
At the tribunal, Adam accuses Adrian of weaponizing Ferals and unleashing them at Marcel's estate. He brings as evidence Lily's Turning which was unsolicited and you have no proof of Adrian's innocence. After he is convicted and taken to the Baron's Bloody Cellars, you, Lily, Kamilah, and Nicole form a plan to free him. Knowing that members of Clan Raines and Clan Sayeed cannot help without risking an all-out war, a full-scale attack is out of the question and you ask Jax to help as a diversion.
After you and Jax are successful in rescuing Adrian, the latter wants to return to Raines Corporation to get the serum before Adam can. When he does, Nicole surprises both of you, revealing that she came to an agreement with Adam - one where she gives him the serum and he Turns her into a vampire, granting her the chance at immortality. Adrian refuses, injects himself with all the serum, grabs you and jumps out of his office window, scaling down the building and back to the getaway car. Knowing that Adam will hunt him, you leave with Adrian and Kamilah to hide in Adrian's former home from his human life.
There, Adam and Nicole have followed, tracking you via the GPS device implanted into Adrian when he was in the Bloody Cellars. They unleash a horde of Ferals at you, and everything seems to fall in place. Although he was not the one to start the Feral problem, Adam took advantage of it. He Turned Adrian's employees into Ferals, released them at Marcel's ball, and had the Council oust Adrian. With the super-injection of serum, Adrian discovers new powers and is able to feel and control Adam's blood just as their Maker, Gaius, could decades ago. You watch as Adrian causes Adam's head to explode, and talk Adrian down. When he returns to his previous self, you two return to the horde as Jax, Lily, and Clanless vampires (who had followed Adam and Nicole when they left the city) exterminate the rest.
New Council[]
Back in New York, Lester, Priya, and the Baron meet, surprised when Adrian, Kamilah, Jax, Lily and you arrive. Adrian explains Adam's involvement, providing satellite images for those who question it, and Kamilah reinstates him into the Council. Instead of following the rule to vote an existing clan member as a new Council member, Adrian offers the position to Jax and the majority of the Council (minus the Baron) agree.
Book 2[]
Gaius's Return[]
It has been six months since Adam was killed and Jax had taken his spot on the council. All appears well until you are kidnapped from your apartment by Gaius Augustine. It is revealed that Scholar Jameson has been helping Gaius, and that he believes you are a Bloodkeeper[6], holder of vampire memories. Scholar Jameson dives into your mind psychically to search for a memory, and there he finds a vial of Rheya's blood hidden in an amulet. He knocks you unconscious and leaves you for your friends to find.
When you tell them what happened and you bring up Gaius's name, Adrian and Kamilah are afraid. They know that to stop Gaius, they need to get to the Amulet of Nero before he can. You and your friends are successful in finding it first, only to be betrayed by Priya who offers the vial to Gaius upon your return. With his powers restored, Gaius kills the Baron and then Lester, and offers power to any vampire who captures and/or kills you and your friends. While Lily and Kamilah stay in New York to shepherd the remaining loyal vampires to safety, you, Adrian and Jax fly to Europe to find a way to access your vampire memories and find the Tree of Eternal Life.
The Order of the Dawn[]
In Paris, Serafine Dupont helps you find the Book of Blood. At her club, you are introduced to The Order of the Dawn, vampire hunters who kill without remorse. You watch as Serafine fights but is taken away, and Adrian becomes obsessed with killing all of the Order's soldiers. His darkness frightens you but you are able to calm him down. Calling Lily and Kamilah to join you, you meet up with them in Prague and head to Vlad Tepes's estate to find the Eye of Bathory. After seducing and/or knocking him out, you steal the eye and discover that he has been feeding the Order intel about you and your friends.
Because time is of the essence, you and your friends don't stay to confront Vlad but instead use the book and the eye to determine your next destination: Greece and the little island of Mydiea. You meet up with Adrian's friend, Elias, who takes you to the Order's compound and is killed by one of their security devices. Since ultraviolet light doesn't harm you, you enter the compound alone to disable the security protocols and allow your friends entrance. Once inside, you all make your way to the Tree of Eternal Life where the Order's leader Erik Balthazar IV finds you. Kamilah and Adrian quickly sense the truth - that he is a vampire himself - and Xenocrates all but spits on the word. He finds vampires abominations and has never sired one. All vampires descend from Gaius, and it is Xenocrates's mission to kill them all. Once they are dead, he will kill himself and end the line. You don't understand him and try to reason with him, but he won't listen. In the end, Jax manages to decapitate him and you all leave the island with a stake from the Tree of Eternal Life.
Battle Against Gaius[]
When you and your friends return to New York, you are met by the destruction that had ensued while you were away. Nikhil takes you to their new make-shift hideout as the Shadow Den had been destroyed, but after a short reprieve, Priya and Gaius's followers attack. You have the option of killing Priya with Kamilah, but afterwards, Gaius reveals that he has captured Nikhil, Lula, and others and threatens to kill them if you do not surrender to him.
You and your friends go to exchange yourselves for the hostages, hoping to get close enough to Gaius to use the stake. Gaius is too quick, however, and you all fight against him. Because his powers are stronger than his progeny, he easily senses their movements and actions and you find it is up to you to stop him. You grab the stake and charge, but he runs Jax's sword through you. He mocks you for your attempt, but you wipe the smile off his face when you stake him. He transforms into a tree, similar to the Tree of Eternal Life, and you collapse. With your last breaths, you tell your friends that you've won. It becomes hard for you to hear them, for you to breathe and speak, and you feel cold. You close your eyes... only to awaken as someone not quite yourself.
Book 3[]
Turned[]
You awaken in a fresh grave four days after your death. Confused and hungry, you make your way through New York City streets until your Love Interest finds you and brings you to Adrian's office. Throughout Book 3, you learn and adjust to your new powers as a Vampire and your psychic abilities increase exponentially. You are the first and only Bloodkeeper to be Turned into a vampire.
Rheya's Return[]
When Rheya Apostolous appears, everyone except you is in awe. As a vampire, you can feel the power emanating from her but it is your choice to be submissive to her or hold your ground. She appears warm and inviting and most everyone falls under her spell and believes that she wants world peace. However, you find out differently when you stumble upon her bedroom during the Bacchanalia at her mansion.
She finds it odd that she cannot control you, but as she can control others, she takes over the minds of your friends and orders them to kill you. You instinctively defend yourself and unleash hidden psychic power. You break the control she has over your friends, and all of you escape New York.
Your Training[]
Knowing that you may be the only one who can stop Rheya because you're the only one who appears impervious to her control, Jax brings you and your friends to Japan in search of Kano Yoshimasa, a powerful psychic. There, you meet Takeshi Watanabe, Jax's Maker, and The Five of Japan who want nothing to do with the upcoming battle against Rheya. Your training with Kano is slow but productive, as your able to confront your fears about Gaius and learn more about the psychic plane. Before you can go further, Gaius appears and attacks. Takeshi sacrifices himself so you all may escape, but later you decide to face Gaius alone. You're able to peer into his mind and remove the corruption that Rheya had placed there. When Gaius realizes the truth, he tells you that he can help you kill her once and for all by taking you to Demetrius.
With the knowledge that Rheya could be killed by Demetrius's blood, you, your friends, and Gaius venture to the South Pacific island where he is located. After a battle against spiderferals, you make your way through the island and find the Tree of Eternal Death. You are the only one able to continue walking as your friends are weakened with every step, and when you touch the tree, you are immediately drawn into the psychic plane. There, Demetrius greets you and tells you that you are his granddaughter with Rheya. You are the sacred chalice, where Rheya's vampire blood has joined Rheya's human blood (which is what brought her back). He allows you to take his sap because he knows your purpose there, and he suppresses his influence over the environment giving you and your friends enough time to patch up a boat and leave the island.
The Final Battle[]
In Chapter 15, you and your friends return to New York armed with a dagger coated in Demetrius' blood. Gaius escorts you into the opera house as his "prisoners" but Rheya is not convinced. Kamilah tries to attack as do the rest of your friends, but Rheya is annoyed by the attempt. You try to strike her with the dagger but Vlad Tepes intervenes and she discovers what the dagger contains. When she launches the dagger back at you, Jax or Lily take the hit in order to protect you. As Jax or Lily lay in your arms, he/she thanks you for your friendship and your love. He/she asks to be staked to end his/her life because he/she does not want to become Feral. You don't want them to die but you agree. Jax stakes himself; or Kamilah stakes Lily. He/she turns to ash and disappears.
In Chapter 16 afterwards, you become grief-stricken and vow to kill Rheya. You are consumed by anger and pain, and can choose to kill the "vermin who were loyal to Rheya who killed Jax/Lily" or incapacitate them, showing them some mercy. When Vlad tries to stop you, you can kill him or spare his life. You can also choose to incapacitate Serafine Dupont by psychically causing her pain and knocking her unconscious or telling the truth about Rheya, thereby recruiting and forgiving her.
When you finally face off with Rheya, you pull her into the psychic plane and show her the truth about her daughter's death. When she realizes all she has done was for nothing, she tells you to kill her. Even if you hesitate, you ultimately kill her. After absorbing her essence, you become temporarily overcome with power, thinking you can bring back Jax or Lily. After seeing that is not possible, you sadly accept the fact that you cannot revive the dead and are shocked that you almost became like Rheya.
A few weeks later, you can give Gaius Augustine a second chance to atone for his sins or execute him. Afterwards, you and your friends go public and tell the press on television that you are vampires, that they exist, and that you will work toward building an understanding and a better world for both humans and vampires alike.

Relationships[]
Adrian Raines[]
Adrian is your employer and one of your potential love interests. You applied and were hired to be his Executive Assistant in Raines Corporation. If you accompany him to dinner at the company's private rooftop restaurant, he reveals to you that he wants the freedom to pursue any type of innovative technology that has the potential to transform the world. If you try to get too close to him, he will reject you for your own safety initially.
If you choose to pursue him as a love interest, you can become intimate with him in Chapters 5, 14, and 16. In Book 2, Chapter 1, if you chose to be with him in Book 1, Chapter 16, he will be with you when you wake up after dreaming about Rheya. In Vegas, you are surprised as everyone else when Adrian kills the man who imprisoned you and your friends in front of your eyes and if he is your love interest, later dream of him attacking you. During Book 2, you help Adrian open up about the darkness inside of him and how Gaius affected him.
Kamilah Sayeed[]
Kamilah is the CEO of her own financial company, the head of the Vampire Council in New York, and one of your potential love interests. In Book 1, Chapter 1, Kamilah appears cool to you, but is impressed with your knowledge that the scarab that Adrian gifted her is also a symbol of rebirth. In Chapter 5, after you convince Adrian to turn Lily against Council regulation, the two of you restart on rocky terms. Kamilah tells you the level of danger you put him in and threatens to kill you herself if anything bad happens to Adrian. She thinks of him like a brother. Afterwards, you can converse about her past and her relationship with Adrian, and you can compliment her beauty. She will say that conversing with you for the first time was “tolerable” in a complimentary manner. If you choose to pursue her as a love interest, you have the option to kiss her for the first time in Chapter 8 during a game of Truth or Dare if you ride in the VIP section. In Chapters 9 and 12, you have the premium choices to have private scenes with her and in Chapters 14 and 16, you can become intimate with her.
In Book 2, if she is your closest Love Interest, she Turns you after you are killed by Gaius.
Lily Spencer[]
Lily is your best friend, roommate, and one of your potential love interests. In the early chapters of Book 1, you dislike how Lily is treated by her (now-ex) girlfriend, Melanie, and feel she deserves someone who doesn't take her for granted. You can take her out to try to cheer her up after they break up. You tell Adrian how you met Lily after failing to find a place for rent when a friend of your cousin suggested Lily. Once you two become roommates, your friendship and love for her blossoms. You can explore a romantic relationship with her starting in Chapter 6.
In Book 2, Chapter 1, if she is your love interest or if you didn't choose to be intimate with someone else, she will be in your room. Because she chose to leave Adrian's clan and join Jax's clan, Jax starts to give her more responsibilities in leadership. You help encourage her and build her confidence. If she is your closest Love Interest, she Turns you after you are killed by Gaius. She explains that Adrian and Kamilah had to instruct her as she had never Turned anyone prior to you.
Jax Matsuo[]
Jax is the leader of the Clanless vampires (later Clan Matuso) and one of your potential love interests. He has been watching you since you began your employment with Adrian, hoping to recruit you as a spy. In Book 1, Chapter 4, he rescues you from being imprisoned by The Baron's men. While at a temporary safe house, you can choose to stay longer to learn more about him and the Clanless. He is surprised if you stay, and you can allow him to feed on you in an intimate-esque moment that he describes as "intense". He considers you to be open-minded since you show empathy and compassion for the Clanless. Before you leave, he tells you not to trust Adrian or anyone else on the Council, and gives you his number in case of emergency. It is your choice to tell the truth to Adrian or keep your interactions with Jax a secret.
In Chapter 6, you run into him outside your apartment, where he admits he was concerned about you. If you choose to go on a walk with him in a premium scene, he takes you to the park and attempts to cheer you up about Lily's situation. He will also apprehend a mugger who snatched your purse. If you hug him afterwards, you admit to hoping to see him soon. In Chapter 10, you call him for help and he brings you and Lily to the Shadow Den. There you have the premium choices to have dinner with him, learn about his family and become intimate with him. In Chapter 11, he will flirt more with you if you purchase the premium outfit and you have another premium option to hook up with him (and/or Lily). If you choose to help The Baron’s prisoners escape, Jax will tell you in Chapter 15 that you've made a lot of friends. In Chapter 16, you can become intimate again.
In Book 2, your relationship (friendship or romance) with him continues. You help him adjust to being a new Council member and see the Shadow Den prosper. In Europe, he never realized how difficult the situation was for other vampires because he had always focused on the Clanless and New York. If he is your closest Love Interest, he Turns you after you are killed by Gaius.
Lester Castellanos[]
You immediately dislike Lester due to his sexist and unprofessional attitude towards you when you first meet. You dislike his lack of respecting boundaries. When discussing votes for Lily to join Adrian’s clan, you describe him as a "lecherous pervert".
Adam Vega[]
Through his reputation and public persona, you think Senator Vega is a charismatic charmer. When you first meet him though, your initial thoughts begin to sway due to his radical and racist views on Clanless vampires. While you are sympathetic to their cause, Adam would rather see them all wiped out by genocide. Your dislike of him grows when he accuses Adrian of being responsible for the Feral attacks and later when you discover his role in framing Adrian and his desire for the serum. In Book 1, Chapter 15, you help Adrian in killing him by weakening him with a UV flashlight.
The Baron[]
The Baron doesn't like you and the feeling is mutual. It's not uncommon for him to address you by offensive names. He tries to imprison you on two occasions: upon your first meeting, where he wanted to lock you in The Bloody Cellars for 6 months just for delivering a summons, and when he is unable to see through Kamilah's ruse and accepts you as a prisoner to torture in exchange for voting on Kamilah's side. He also mentions how you are just Adrian's type; being cocky, idealistic and human. He is similar to Vega in that he has disdain for you because he feels that you don't know your place. Your dislike for him grows even more when he votes against Adrian at his hearing and when you see the full extent of his sadism by seeing his tortured prisoners. In Book 1, Chapter 16, you can stand up to him by telling him to "sit his punk ass down" during the Council meeting. He is shocked if you yell at him like that.
Priya Lacroix[]
You first mentioned being a big fan of Priya Lacroix’s work in fashion before meeting her. When Adrian brings you to her show, you are shocked to learn she is a vampire. Over time, your opinion of her lowers because of her treatment of her houseboys and her predatory behavior towards you. You also get angry with her for betraying you and the Council and vow revenge upon her. In Book 2, you have the option to get closer to her in a premium scene, but the scene ends with your death and you will start from a checkpoint as if nothing happened. Later in Chapter 16, you have the option to help Kamilah Sayeed kill Priya as the latter chooses to serve Gaius rather than fight him.
If you do not help Kamilah kill her, Priya allies herself with Rheya in Book 3. However, once she sees your newfound powers and ability to resist Rheya, she departs because she does not want to fight you herself.
Nicole Anderson[]
Nicole was the Vice President of Raines Corp and Adrian's right-hand. When Adrian hires you immediately, she is skeptical of you but doesn't question him. When you accidentally walk in to see Adrian feeding on her, she becomes angry and tells Adrian that you need to be debriefed. In Chapter 13, she betrays you two to Adam in her quest for immortality. She tells you that you manipulated Adrian into turning Lily, Your Idiot friend, and believes that you led him down one bad road after another. In Chapter 15, she attempts to kill you multiple times -first with a crossbow, then with her bare hands- but you manage to turn the tables on her. When you win the fight, you can let her run, give her another chance, capture her so she can be put on trial, or kill her yourself execution-style. What you choose will affect you briefly in Book 2.
Vlad Tepes[]
In Book 2, you have the option to seduce Vlad Tepes (alias Dracula) in a premium scene. In Book 3, Chapter 16, you become angry with his role in Jax's or Lily's death. You engage in combat with Vlad, and can choose to either kill him or spare his life.
Kano Yoshimasa[]
With your growing psychic powers and the ability to resist Rheya's mind control, you and your friends decide to travel to Japan to seek out Kano Yoshimasa, a powerful psychic vampire. After a brief meeting with The Five of Japan, you are allowed to speak to Kano alone. When you explain what is happening in New York, he tells you that he will not participate as his position has always been and always will be "to remain impartial." Even if you exclaim that Gaius and Rheya will kill him, it does not deter him. He, however, agrees to train you to use your psychic powers to their fullest potential if you can pass his test.
During the test, you dive into a childhood memory, realizing that your Bloodkeeper traits manifested in your youth and that your mother is also a Bloodkeeper. Other visions come into a view: a past interview with Adrian that did not result in your hire, the past where Kano was Turned by Gaius, a future where you feel the anger radiating off Rheya at an opera theater as she attacks humans. You have the premium option to dive into a memory of Rheya twisting Gaius into the monster that he became. Afterwards, on another astral plane, you are forced to fight monsters. You have the premium option to pull one of your friends into your psychic plane. If you call Adrian, you get to show Adrian a sunny field (granting Adrian's wish to feel the sun again) at the end of the battle; if you call Kamilah, you bring her to her hometown where she was raised before she was Turned (which she dreams every time she sleeps); if you call Lily, you show her a fantasy castle with dragons (Lily's dream); and if you call Jax, you both get to see the earth from outer space (Jax's dream). Your friends compliment, thank you, and promise to see you soon when they leave. Your final test is confronting Gaius in your mind, finally facing and letting go of your fear of him, and standing firm. After you pass the tests and awaken to reality, Kano is there to greet you. He agrees to begin your training the following day.
During your training, Kano teaches you to observe the surroundings. You practice on different mental plains, and you have the premium option to learn how to produce psychic energy blasts at will. However, to fully master the craft, Kano tells you it will take five years and you tell him that you cannot wait that long. You ask him again to help you against the upcoming battle against Rheya, to which he declines again. He is disappointed but not surprised when you leave.
Powers and Abilities[]
In Book 1 and Book 2, your character is human but with a few notable talents:
- Clairvoyance and Retrocognition: Your Character displays some limited psychic abilities. In Book 1, Chapter 1, if you go to dinner with Adrian when he vaguely mentions his past, for a few seconds you're able to smell and see the scenery of the area he is from but it gets pushed from your mind. Scholar Jameson is aware of your psychic powers and is the one responsible for planting the magic tapestry pieces that allow you to see into the past of the Council. No one else sees the tapestry pieces but you do, and they disappear after you finish having the flashback or if you ignore them. When the tapestry piece disappears, so do all your memories of seeing it and of having the flashback — making the extent of your abilities rather weak.
- Self-Defense: Your Character appears to have no formal defense training but is strong enough to hold her own in a fight against Nicole, and have quick reactions to kill Ferals with a stake. She can also wield a crossbow. If you choose to, Jax can also train Your Character to use a sword.
After being Turned into a vampire, Your Character has gained the following vampire abilities:
- Immortality: In Book 1, Chapter 2, Adrian confirms that he does not age. Thus, we can assume the same can be said for Your Character after she is Turned[7].
- Super-Strength: Your Character notes her increased strength when she breaks through her coffin[7].
- Healing Factor: Accelerated healing is an ability that vampires possess that allows them to heal from physical injuries at supernatural speeds[7]. If a vampire uses their blood such as when Adrian was done feeding on Nicole, they can heal the bite mark as well.
- Heightened Senses: After Your Character escapes from her coffin, she covers her ears but the sounds overwhelm her. When Kamilah Sayeed, Jax Matsuo, and Lily Spencer are all talking at once to Adrian, she winces in pain in her head until they decide to give her some space. She is also able to smell blood of the woman she chases[7].
- Precognition: As she adjusts to her new abilities as a vampire, her psychic abilities also increase and she beings to have "visions" of possible futures.
- Psychic Shield: She can resist Rheya trying to probe and take over her mind[8].
- Mental Shield Penetration: She can also dive into Gaius's mind and find his fears and weaknesses[8]. However because of his age and experience, he can create a psychic shield to deter her from digging further. He tells her that she may be able to crack his shield in six months to a year if she is persistent[9].
- Psychic blasts: She discovers that she possesses further powerful psychic abilities. She unleashes projectiles of strong psychic energy powerful enough to hurt Rheya and free her friends from Rheya's control[8].
- Memory Reading (a sub-power of Telepathy): She discovers and is trained to use her ability to read the target's memory without tapestry fragments and thereby discover lost memories and help the person remember, or learn a memory that the target is unaware of, but could be useful[2].
- Telekinesis[10]: Kano teaches her the power to manipulate objects and matter with one's mind[11]. Later, she can choose to incapacitate Rheya's soldiers instead of killing them, by shattering their kneecaps[12], and can stop Vlad's daggers, redirecting them back at him.
- Power Absorption: As Your Character's powers increased, she has the power to absorb Rheya's power. This is how she kills Rheya[12]. With the additional power, she begins to feel what Rheya felt - the thirst for power and the belief that she could create life. If she accepts this darkness, she replaces Rheya as the goddess of blood. If she relinquishes it, it disappears.
Weaknesses[]
- Sunlight: Sunlight is one of vampires' weaknesses. As Adrian stated, sunlight does hurt him and can prove fatal after more than thirty minutes of exposure. It's akin to hypersensitivity; overexposure causes an accelerated heat stroke. This same weakness can be assumed for Your Character.
- Decapitation: Dismembering or manually removing the head of a vampire will result in instant and permanent death.
- Heart Extraction: Removing and subsequently destroying the heart of a vampire will also result in permanent death.
- Unquenched Bloodlust: When Adrian first became a vampire, he felt the powerful thirst for blood which no amount of water could relieve. In that period, Adrian experienced severe discomfort. It is unknown how long a vampire can remain thirsty or what the extent of pain is when this need is unmet. When Vampires don't consume blood for extended periods of time, they tend to give in to their instincts and attack the nearest human in order to quench their thirst. Newly turned Vampires like Your Character are the ones mostly affected by this problem.
- A Feral's Bite: A bite from a feral vampire is infectious to regular vampires because it can turn them feral too. When she was clanless, Lily was at a higher risk of going feral.
- Transformation Delay: It took four days for Your Character's Turning to take place. It is possible that it was hindered by her Bloodkeeper abilities.

Memorable Quotes[]
Jim Greenly: Who exactly are you?
Your Character: I'm Amy. I'm... well, up until a year ago, I was just a normal young woman. Trying to make it in the city... trying to find a job... just getting by. Then I discovered something. Our world... the world you all know... has a secret. A shadow. A dark hidden past, spanning the whole world, that has caused thousands of years of pain and conflict. For thousands of years, there have been two worlds. The world of day and the world of night. Your world... and ours. But it's time we ended that division. It's time we stopped living in secret. It's time this endless cycle of blood and pain comes to an end. Greenly: Okay, come on. Are you being serious right now? Your Character [revealing your fangs]: Oh, Jim... I'm dead serious. That's right. We're vampires. But we're not going to live in the shadows any more. It's time we came into the open. Time we put old conflicts behind us. It's time for a new era to begin. |
