Your Character

He is a prominent history professor at Manhattan University, who you and Trystan consult about the murder weapon that was used to kill Bethany and the history of a Mahraean tribe from Pre-Roman Gaul. He tells you that a sect of the tribe called the Hand of Mahra was formed in the 1930s by Mathus Blake. After you are dismissed from the Dormer case in Chapter 11, Luke shows you the client pool, and you recognize Professor Reese among them who's been declared as a missing person. When you find out that he disappeared the day after you and Trystan talked to him, you deduce that he might be the killer's third victim.

In Chapter 12, you find him at the old Blakes family home, now classified as a historic site and maintained by the Blake Hill Preservation Society.

Tony Kowalski

Professor Reese was Tony Kowalski's mentor when the latter was enrolled at Manhattan University. After you and Trystan visit him, he becomes concerned with Tony and seeks him out in a futile attempt to protect him.

In Chapter 12, Reese becomes Tony's third victim.

Soo-jin Cho

Soo-jin is one of Reese's teaching assistants. She tells you that even though Reese will get wrapped up in his projects, he usually texts her before leaving. When he hadn't, she became concerned and filed a missing persons report.
