Tristan Dumont

Tristan Dumont, a character in The Heist: Monaco book and The Royal Heir series, is a businessman and a member of Via Imperii. He is first seen in The Heist: Monaco, Chapter 12.

Appearance

Tristan has blue eyes, short blond hair, and fair skin. He wears a three-piece tweed suit with white dress shirt, blue patterned tie, and maroon pocketsquare.

Personality

Tristan appears to be a well-mannered businessman, who enjoys the finer things in life. He appreciates punctuality and etiquette.

Your Character (The Heist: Monaco)

To gain access to the privately owned San Marquez Bridge located in Port Dumont, Your Character, your driver, and your grifter meet Tristan Dumont. He is a very rich businessman in the shipping industry, who hosts the King's Circuit -an illegal and highly dangerous underground street race- on his property. You impress him by complimenting his home, and disappoint him if you are tactless.

When he meets your driver, he is excited to wage his driver against yours in a race. If you win, he will give you and your team an hour access to his property and the bridge. If he wins, your driver will sign a contract with him to join his group of street racers. Even if you do not agree, your driver will volunteer himself/herself and agree to the wager.

The next day, at the races, you can also wager for his sleek high-speed fully-customized car. If you win, he will give you the car. If he wins, you promise to get him contracts with anyone you want. You tell him that you have connections with the best drivers in the world and a lot of people owe you. You would personally ensure him that his race track is more lucrative than any other.

When you and your driver win the race, Tristan admits defeat graciously.

Your Character (The Royal Romance)

Your Character first meets Tristan Dumont at Vance Kovac's manor. He is seated with Vance and Dame de Fume at Vance's VIP table. Several years later, you and your friends meet him at the Via Imperii ball where you all are inducted into the secret society. He doesn't appear to recognize you even though Dame de Fume does.

In Finale, Chapter 12, Sigrid asks that you introduce him to people in Cordonia's court that could help his business expand. You have the option of being helpful and introducing him to Kiara, or unobliging and introducing him to Penelope.

His character model resembles Richard Strickler from Rising Tides.
He shares the same name as Tristan Richards from the Desire & Decorum series and Tristan Gawain from Save the Date.
His model car is inspired by the Bugatti Chiron with the front of the Ford Mustang.
