The user made more accounts that started with the name Killy and ended with 00028 and 00029. Staff intervened because I emailed them due to how much spam and valism this user was doing on my user page over there, urs and others.
It's seems to have been sorted. I was able to get Fandom Staff involved. Basically, The user Killy I had blocked for two weeks when he was being rude to people on the AME walkthrough page. Then I blocked him for longer when he came back and was ruder then ever. The then showed up last morning deleting walkthrough pages. I was able to roll back their edits, but then they went to the Suits Wikia, where they began to harass me their, edit my user page saying hateful stuff, then editing ur page and others. The user made new accounts but thankfully, it seems the worst is over.
Yup! It's exactly what I did. I just inform them and just in case VTSF too . I was just rollbacking the trolls edits until staff got there. Honestly, I don't either. Especially when the user went on other wikias and attacked other users.
Btw, just as a precaution with this troll, I and some user I have temporarily promoted to admins to help are aiding me in protecting the 1K pages we have on this wikia, so that new users can't edit or rename pages like this Kilky troll did yesterday. Most of the people that help edit here have been around for a while. But if we do get some new users wanting to help edit here, its easier to temporarily lower the protection of the page than it is to deal with a bunch of pages being renamed.
I think some of the older ones had it, and I did it for some too.i wasn't able to look through every page to check of it was protected. As for lowering the protection, I meant that if we get new users who want to edit, they'll need access to the pages. The only way for that is to lower the protection.
Yup! Which in the case of renaming, it's easier when we do it since we opt to not create a redirect. But most of the users who edit here aren't new so their not affected by the protection on the pages. It's the news users who would need to ask for permission. Does that make sense?
Lol sorry meant to say NOT instead of NOW. So the ones who have been here for more than 3 months can edit pages without problems now that we have protected said pages. It's any new users that pop up that will need to ask for permission in order to be able to edit the pages. Since this troll has made new accounts.. With the pages protected against new users... He can't cause much damage. Does that make sense?
