- Kara Loo, one of Pixelberry's writers, has posted on Twitter and Instagram to be hard at work on the book's production.[1][2]
- In Pixelberry's "What's Next" blog, a confirmation that The Royal Romance, Book 3 will be released in March was stated.[3]
- On February 23, 2018, it was confirmed that Book 3 will debut on Friday, March 2, 2018.[4][5]
- On February 26, 2018, Pixelberry released the soundtracks of The Royal Romance for the return of Book 3.[6]
- In a reply to a player, Pixelberry confirmed on March 29, 2018 that Hana is bisexual.
- On April 27, 2018, Pixelberry announced that the book would be going on a mid-book break and will announce its return date in the upcoming weeks.[7]
- On a livestream for The Royal Romance, Kara Loo and another writer said that unofficially The Royal Romance is not ending with Book 3.
- On July 13, 2018, when Pixelberry released the posters with the title confirmations for this week's chapters... There seems to have been a mistake. Instead of displaying the actual Chapter 14 title: Welcome, One and All, they accidentally used the title for Chapter 13.[11]
- On July 19, 2018, Pixelberry revealed that a Royal Romance filter is available to use on the social media platform Snapchat.[12]
- On August 14, 2018, Kara Loo, one of the head writers for The Royal Romance series, tweeted out that she is currently hard at work writing the finale for this book.
- On August 16, 2018, a Sneak Peek for Chapter 19 was released.[15]
- On August 17, 2018, PB released a PSA where they stated that there's a code bug in that day's chapter of The Royal Romance regarding your marriage title choice from Chapter 17, which may have resulted in the incorrect title being pronounced.[16]
- On August 22, 2018, PB released another PSA where they announced that they have fixed the aforementioned bug that was giving issues to some people with their marriage title. If you contact them before August 31, 2018, they will give you keys for your troubles.[17]
- On August 21, 2018, at 11:47PM Pacific Coast US time zone, Kara Loo, one of the writers for this book series, revealed she is busy writing near midnight the finale for Book 3.[18]
- On August 22, 2018, Pixelberry -via their twitter account for the Choices App- posted a picture of the inspiration behind the Corgi alongside a new friend.[19]
- On August 23, 2018, rather than Choices, Kara Loo, one of the writers for this book, released a sneak peek for the 20th chapter of the book.[20]
- She also went onto explain in an Instagram post that right now, the TRR team is focused on finishing up Book 3. As of now, they don’t have any certain future plans for TRR beyond knowing that they’d like to do something involving these characters in the future, but that could take many forms.[21]
- On September 7, 2018, Pixelberry shared The Royal Romance Spotify playlist.[22][23]
- As of November 26, 2018 it was revealed that the TRR writers are still figuring out where the main cast can go after this book.[24]

- The book was confirmed in the final chapter of The Royal Romance, Book 2.
- This book boasts the longest chapters (in terms of time) in the entire Choices history, with 29 mins without diamonds.
- The dress on the cover of this book seems to have been inspired by the dress worn by Queen Guinevere in the first chapter of the final season of the British fantasy series The Adventures of Merlin.
- Chapter 6 shares its name with the Embers of Hope in Endless Summer, Book 3.
- There are several references to The Crown & The Flame trilogy in Chapter 2.
- "Liam" is able to mention a legend about a blue dragon.
- In Chapter 11, it is revealed that the Nevrakis family sigil is a Flaming Sword.
- In Chapter 12, Drake talks about the ice bucket challenge.
- In Chapter 13, Gladys mentions Lord Byron who was said to have gotten drunk and passed out in Your Character's new estate once.
- In the same chapter, the character model of Dom's Hawk from The Crown & The Flame series is used for Tiberius, a wild hawk roaming around Your Character's Duchy.
- In a premium scene with Liam in Chapter 15, he mentioned that a legendary warrior united the Five Kingdoms under her rule. He was most likely referring to Kenna Rys.
- In Chapter 16, Your Character has an opportunity to get closure with any of the four love interests that aren't your fiancé.
- You are even presented an opportunity to have one last fling at your Bachelorette Party with any of them in Las Vegas before getting married to whomever your main love interest is.
- On Thursday, August 9, 2018, the summary for Chapter 18 was finally released.
- In Chapter 22, it is revealed that Maxwell wrote a tell-all book aptly titled The Royal Romance, just like the name of the trilogy. It is said that it will fix House Beaumont's financial issues.
- In the same chapter, if you choose to talk to Olivia about historical reenactments, she will reference The Battle of The Bay from The Crown & The Flame, Book 2. She even says she makes an excellent dragon.
- With 22 chapters, it used to be the longest book, along with Across the Void. They are, as of September 2020, the third longest books in the game. They are surpassed by My Two First Loves. The second longest book is Witness: A Bodyguard Romance with 28 chapters.
- This book ended on the same day as Veil of Secrets.
- In Book 3, Chapter 18, Hana's something blue wedding gift is a pair of blue heels that are inspired by Cinderella.
- Between September 13 and September 14, 2018, all of The Royal Romance books received a redesign in the thumbnails of their book covers.
