- Chapter 1 shares the same title as It Lives In The Woods, Chapter 12, Witness: A Bodyguard Romance, Chapter 19, and Immortal Desires, Chapter 13, "Homecoming".
- With 19 chapters, this used to be the second longest book in the game, along with The Royal Romance, Book 1, and Rules of Engagement, Book 1. The first was Rules of Engagement, Book 2 with 21 chapters. This record was broken by The Royal Romance, Book 3, and Across the Void with 22 chapters respectively. America's Most Eligible: Season 10. The Royal Heir, Book 2, The Nanny Affair, Book 1 and Open Heart: Second Year have 20 chapters respectively, Witness: A Bodyguard Romance with 28 chapters and My Two First Loves, with 100 chapters.
- In Chapter 7, the Corgi from the book cover makes his appearance. A premium choice offers the players to adopt it and name it.
- In Chapter 9, Drake uses strong language, stating to Bertrand, "Don't give me that bullsh*t!"
- In Chapter 11, your group watches the opera The Magic Flute. Your Character can compare Drake to the Phantom of the Opera. She will even quote from the title song of the musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber: "The Phantom of the Opera is there... inside your mind." Prior to the conversation, Your Character meets Liam in box five, the box the Phantom always demands to be left empty for him.
- In Chapter 14, Maxwell becomes an official love interest.
- Depending on which love interest you picked to have "the talk" with, the summary of Chapter 17 at the end of Chapter 16 will reflect on that and use your love interest's name in the description. The same set-up was also used later in High School Story, Book 2.
- In Chapter 19, the final chapter of the book, the cliffhanger bears a strong allusion to the iconic Moldova Wedding Massacre in the 1989 television series, Dynasty.[8]
