On September 30, 2019, PB teased that some upcoming holiday specials for a few beloved series were in the works.^[1]
On October 4, 2019, in the October edition of Choices Insiders, it was announced that this series will be getting a holiday special that is scheduled to be released in the Fall.^[2]
On October 30, 2019, PB announced that this book would take place after the events of The Royal Romance, Book 3, but before the events of The Royal Heir.^[3]
- They also revealed the official title of the book and the premiere date to be November.
The release date was revealed on November 8, 2019, in the Choices Insiders mail which also includes a sneak peek.^[4]
- They later unveiled the book's cover.^[5]^[6]
They later released the Chapter 1 description on November 10th.^[7]
On November 11, 2019, they released a second sneak peek.^[8]
On November 22, 2019, PB released a sneak peek for Chapter 2.^[9]
- During the IG livestream, The Royal Holiday writers confirmed that the book will have 4 chapters.
- Lythikos Nog is based off of Tibetan Butter tea.
On December 6, 2019 PB released a sneak peek for Chapter 4.^[10]
