The Foundry is a location in The Crown & The Flame series. It is the center of the Technocrats' city. Rumors say that the Technocrats rarely leave the Foundry. They design and develop creative and innovative devices there. Furthermore, they all share a passion for learning and discovery and value logic above all else.
Getting to the Foundry is not an easy task as you have to go through a labyrinth that has complex and deadly challenges. However, the labyrinth is not technically a deathtrap although it may seem like one, but rather a test or riddle that must be solved to prove that you are worthy of a meeting with the Technocrats.
In Book 2, the Foundry was destroyed by Hex. In the end of Book 3, Whitlock stated that the city will be under repair when he gets back to the Foundry.
