In Chapter 4, Longclaw mentions boggarts, a potential reference to the Harry Potter series.
In Chapter 9, there is an animal menagerie with a cat-like creature called a perrikin, which has a gift for prophecy. This references the Nightbound book, where these creatures lived in the Fae lands, hinting that the Fae world is the same as the one Lord Elric came from.
If Leaf is your ally, an Owlbear appears in Chapter 15, hinting that this story and Blades of Light and Shadow are set in the same universe.
