Sir Somerville is at first respectful to you, but once your affair with Nat is exposed, he demands punishment for the chaos you wrought on the grounds of honor. When you decide to abandon your husband with Nat, Sir Somerville chases you through the woods, but you eventually manage to escape by boarding a ship.
Lawrence Bedford
Lawrence and Somerville are friends and business partners. When he and Lawrence discover your affair with Nat in Chapter 16, Somerville tells Lawrence that if he tolerates this disrespect, he will no longer do business with him. When Nat challenges Lawrence to a duel, Sir Somerville acts as his second.
