According to Andrew Shvarts, this book would have taken place 5 years after the events of the first one. Your character would be a fresh college graduate, starting a new life as a professional, having long put your wild high school adventure behind you. However, you'd be suddenly approached by a pair of FBI agents who know about your part in the old Jason Shaw case, and who extort you into helping them. A dangerous heist crew called The Wolves had gotten their hands on a list of FBI informants, and the agents need you to steal them back. They would approach you because The Wolves are a crew Logan used to run with, and you're the only person in the world who can convince Logan to take them on.
You would have to travel around, putting the old crew back together and seeing where everyone ended up after 5 years. Logan would be living as a fugitive in Mexico, working odd jobs and drifting from town to town. Mona would have broken out of jail and fallen in with a dangerous crime family. Colt would have successfully turned his father's business around, gone (almost) legit as he's built an empire, and become engaged to the mayor's daughter.
You would have gotten the whole team back together, plus Toby and Ximena, and you'd have to partner up with Jason Shaw because he has the connections you need to take on The Wolves. Your team would've chased The Wolves through all kinds of exotic locations, with old passions reigniting. In the end, you would've defeated them despite Shaw's betrayal, and you and your LI of choice would've dodged the FBI as you rode off into the sunset together.

On May 3, 2019, players received confirmation of this sequel via the Choices' official Twitter page.[1]
Subsequently, on the same day, PB released a blog post. In part, it said that the book is in the works but is still in the early stage and won't be out for a while.[2]
On June 7, 2019, PB announced (in their monthly newsletter) that the second book is currently being worked on.[3]
On August 2, 2019, PB revealed via a Q&A on Instagram that this book is still on its early days.
On September 30, 2019, PB stated that they were hoping for the series to return sometime in 2020.[4][5]
During the livestream on December 6, 2019, they reiterated that they cannot give a specific date yet as they don't want to get our hopes up.[6]
On January 22, 2021, PB released a blogpost confirming the book is officially canceled.[7]
On December 19, 2023, Storyloom released the second chapter of Choices Secrets Revealed!. In it, Andrew Shvarts answered the question of what would have happened in the second book.[8]
