Veronica
In Chapter 5, when Veronica gives you and Rival the ultimate challenge to find her a loving man to retire with, you discover that her marriage isn't as solid as it seems. She is divorcing her husband, but wants it to be kept secret so that it doesn't ruin her company. In Chapter 7, Richard storms into Veronica's office wanting to discuss the divorce papers she sent him.
You discover later that Richard is the reason Veronica imposed the "no dating coworkers" rule in the company. Richard had cheated on Veronica with his secretary. Despite what public persona he tries to display, Richard does not know Veronica despite the years he had been married to her. He doesn't know her favorite opera is "Carmen".
Rival Matchmaker
Rival Matchmaker is Richard's matchmaker. Before Rival knew of Richard and Veronica's history, he/she thought that maybe Richard could rekindle the spark between him and Veronica. When Rival called him, Richard told him/her that he was wracked with guilt, knew he made all these mistakes, but being apart from her gave him perspective. Rival did not realize that Richard had cheated on Veronica repeatedly.
Jeremy
Jeremy is Richard's nephew by marriage. In Chapter 15, if you ask Jeremy, he will admit that he suggested Richard go on the talk show to clear his reputation during Veronica's scandal. Jeremy figured Richard would be a useful mentor if the former gained control of Two's Co.
Drew
In Chapter 12, when Drew attends the charity gala that Veronica invited him to, Richard looks down upon him. You give your dad advice on how to deal with his remarks, and later when Richard is flustered, he grabs Veronica forcefully by the arm and tells her that even though he has been unfaithful a few times, Drew could never measure up to him. Drew punches him for insulting Veronica and leaves embarrassed by his hotheadedness.

In Chapter 13, you make Richard a laughingstock on television by airing his dirty laundry on the gossip talk show, TMI.
