• PB confirmed in the January 2025 Insiders that they greenlit "more content" for Plus One. It remained unclear whether that content would be a direct sequel or an anthology until the release of May 2025 Insiders, which indicated this book would feature the same characters as the first one.
• Contrary to the usual practice for direct sequels, which typically only release one chapter on launch day, this book released the first two chapters instead.
