The good, the bad, and the almost irrelevant. They are the miscellaneous characters that are there to answer that one question, explain away that one plot hole, assist in adding development to that actually relevant character, or give that good (or bad) advice. We usually never learn their names. They are there and they are gone as soon as they serve their purpose often never to be seen again. They may not be the most memorable but definitely have a role to play. If the "No Image" picture is used, it means that the particular character has only been mentioned and has never physically appeared.

If you made a certain amount of wrong choices, Zaid argues that he reported a lot of doctors failed to handle it but is cornered into saying "yes" that you failed. If you made a certain amount of right choices, Zaid jumps to your defense and says what he would call difficult is triaging three dozen subway crash victims but your character was "stellar" despite only being an intern. According to Baz and June, his wife Liz urged him to go to the E.R. after several weeks of severe headaches and, more recently, loss of peripheral vision. The CT scans of his brain show nothing wrong but his blood tests had markers for meningitis and antibiotics didn't improve his condition. Syphilis caused irreversible damage to his brain and the penicillin will only stop further progression.
He resembles a version of Stephen.

She says no matter what she does or how much she eats, she keeps losing weight. She is also tired all the time.
You discuss her condition with Ethan and try to persuade him to have her come to Edenbrook to get treated, but he refuses because the diagnostics team has never sought outpatients. With the Diagnostics Team, you decide that with her permission, they could try to get a grant to study her condition and possibly determine a treatment for other coma patients; the team could also offer her a portion of the grant money to compensate her. Before Senator Farrugia enters Edenbrook, he gives a small press conference. This reporter asks if his illness is serious and if he's worried for his health. When she asks you a question, you have the opportunity to boost your career or share the credit. You assume altitude sickness although the hotel is only 3,000 feet above sea level. She states that she doesn't take any medicine but admits taking ibuprofen for her headaches. Rodney gave her cortisone cream for the rash. Ethan finds poison sumac at the tree where she hit her head which explains the rash but not the other symptoms. At this moment, she starts having a manic episode and her pupils are slightly dilated. She later starts having a depressive episode. When she develops a fever and increased heartrate, and states she can hardly breathe, you call a helicopter and get her hospitalized. There you find traces of lithium in her blood and Timothy admits that he secretly gave it to her since she is bipolar and refuses to see a doctor about it. The lithium and ibuprofen interacted with each other, causing a chain reaction. The lithium caused her to be sensitive to light, which caused her to slip and hit her head. Aurora diagnoses acetaminophen toxicity from overdosing on Tylenol and that the hormones in her birth control contributed. If her condition cannot be diagnosed and cured within 24 hours, the liver assigned to her has to go to someone else. She is on a pretty strict diet because of the cirrhosis. Tests confirm your hypothesis that the sepsis is caused by intestinal cryptosporidiosis, a parasitic disease in her small intestine. However, the time to cure the infection usually takes two weeks. She is prescribed nitazoxanide to help speed her recovery. Baz suggests moving her name up the transplant list and you suggest additional medicine (paromomycin or azithromoycin) but all suggestions are ruled out. Instead of dwelling on that, she tries to be the best aunt she can be to her sister's children and volunteers at her local crisis nursery.
After doing some blood tests and a full body scan, you find out that Suzette has amyloidosis but there is no cure and the best you can aim for is to slow its development. This news saddens Suzette. She asks about organ transplants but you tell her she is not a good candidate for transplant as her disease would affect her new organs, and she would be placed on the bottom of the transplant list. She feels angry and hopeless, but if you decide to put on a superhero costume and visit the pediatric ward, Suzette will put on a costume too and accompany you, cheering herself and the children. After the visit, she is more hopeful. She was discharged but was admitted again by Leland when she agreed to join a pilot study he launched to study conditions like hers. He places her back under the diagnostics team's care.
In the Chapter 4, you discover that she has been assigned to the control group, so even though the trial drug ends up being the cure of her illness she will not receive it, she will only receive placebos.
