Oberon, a character in the Across the Void book, is Eos' former partner and the Head Security of the Marshall Headquarters. He is also one of Eos' love interests. He is first seen in Chapter 13.
Appearance
Oberon has shoulder length brown hair, copper colored eyes, and dark skin. He has four ridges on his forehead stemming from the bridge of his nose (two above each eyebrow) to his hairline, three white thorns on each cheek, and one white thorn above the outside of each eyebrow. His dark skin is colored with red patches, a mask-like patch over his eyes, three vertical patches on his forehead, and a chin patch. Some of his hair is braided with feathers, and he has long bangs. He has a shoulder injury, which prevents him from moving that shoulder fully, and possible back injury, as evidenced by his walking.
Personality
Oberon has a humorous, mischievous side (as proven by his hologram raining prank on Deimos). As Eos puts it, Oberon is "the biggest prankster I've ever met... in charge of the most dangerous collection of confiscated weapons in the galaxy. We're all doomed." He maintains his humor even under great pressure. While undercover with Eos, he was able to make Eos laugh even when Eos thought their cover had been blown.

Relationships
Eos Elara
He and Eos Elara have history together, as they were former partners in the Vanguard. In a premium scene in chapter six you learn that they spent six months undercover trying to take down a group of criminals working with people in the government in order to make a profit selling rations. After they got the information they needed to take down the criminals, they spent several days in the med bay together recovering from blaster wounds that resulted from an ambush due to their communication channels being compromised. In Chapter 20, Eos tells Oberon that he blames himself for Oberon being captured and tortured in a Prisoners of War camp, but Oberon tells him that he blames the Jura who did it not him.
When asked, Oberon states he has had no new partners since Eos.
Artemis
When Pax Elara was on Antiope with Artemis, the latter's troops captured and tortured Oberon and Eos. Eos killed dozens of Jura soldiers to get Oberon back before they managed to extract the intel they needed.
