Flashback: In ancient Greece, townspeople bring items to The Fate to worship her as the Oracle of Delphi and to gain something in return. A young woman, Claudia, wishes to know if the love she has for a man is true. The fate sees two visions. One of true love, but an early death, and one of a long and lonely life for the woman. You can choose which to tell the woman; if you tell the woman he loves her, The Fate realizes she will die early bearing a third child. The woman will die happy with happy children. Next, a solider asks if he will return from the war a winner. You can tell him he will return alive, but defeated, or die gloriously and be remembered. Finally, the King asks if he will do right by his people. You can tell him his rule will be rutheless and prosperous or kind and impoverished. This takes a great toll on The Fate. | ||||||

Flashback: Cassiopeia is a child at the park with her parents. She is sad to see a bird die, but she brings it back to life, horrifying her parents as this is a common occurrence. Flashing forward to adulthood, Cassiopeia is a witch who broke the Sacred Oath with the Fate by bringing a coven member back to life. The Fate exiles her from the coven and all of New Orleans, as the vision cuts to a later scene where Cassiopeia finds the dead body of a man named Thomas in the water by her cabin. She brings him back to life, but this time, she feels darkness when doing so. As she develops feelings for him, Thomas persuades her to create the bloodwraith. | ||||||

Bonus Scene
Tialo wanders in the swamps, angry that you have taken Lamrian from him, and plots his revenge against you. He schemes on ways to make you suffer. However as he is talking to himself, a giant alligator (dependent on if you sounded the horn in Chapter 10) or shadow monster (default) appears and kills him.
Meanwhile, Nik confronts the Fate after finding out she was the one who hired him to protect you, accusing her of using you both as pawns in her game. The Fate explains that someone had to stop the bloodwraith, and neither she nor Nik could do so. She then says the destinies of the three of you are bound together by forces far beyond his reckoning.

Trivia
- Since the tears show flashbacks of a character's past, they are similar to the portrait fragments in the Bloodbound series.
- The Fate is aware of her tear, and if you choose to take possession of it, she will notice and say that it does not belong to you. However, she is amazed that you are able to see and interact with them. None of the other characters mention their tears.
- The total cost for all seven tears is 112 Diamonds.
- 📌 If the book is replayed and a different model for Nik is chosen, the tear will need to be repurchased.
