Appearance
Nifara has brown eyes and light purple hair. She wears a gold and purple gown.
Personality
Nifara describes herself as kind, practical, and gracious. In the texts, she is described as measured, merciful and fair. However, in reality, she was corrupted by the very power she held, and resorted to vile means to ensure her own survival and the survival of her species. Other times she was cruel, and used her power to blackmail other races into obeying her by threatening to exterminate them if they didn't obey her. She also doesn't think highly of mortals, and believes that they cannot be taught. She mentions her desire to "wipe the world clean and begin again" showing she has zero qualms to murder every living thing if it means she gets her way.
Background
Nifara is the God of Judgment, and the giver of laws and life. She was the eldest and wisest of the Old Gods, and while they all shared leadership, the others often deferred to her judgement. In times of confusion and chaos, she brought order. She encouraged the Gods to set about the laws of the world and to create others to inhabit it. She gave the spark of Light to the elves, which is why she is sometimes referred to as "The Mother of All" in holy songs and texts. Finally, she is often associated with the sun and fire, she lives in Elhalas, and all heat in the world begins and ends with her.
