Relationships
Gabe Adalhard
Gabe and Nicole are covenmates and friends, and if you rock climb with the Clements and romance Gabe, she makes up an excuse to leave you two alone. When you, Gabe and Cas return to Crimson Beech in Chapter 13, Nicole thinks that Gabe is a traitor, but after you tell her the truth about Shiloh's betrayal and about what you found out, she decides to help you.
Your Character
You officially meet Nicole when Gabe introduces you to his/her vampire friends, and she says you're the only one that she can show off to and asks what you thought of her kick earlier. Later, you can join her and the other Clement vampires for rock climbing, although Nicole says that she will be on lookout duty and ready to catch you if you fall.
Lewyn Junius
When Shiloh starts a fight with Scott, Nicole says that he let him get to him, and that Lewyn won't be happy about that. Nicole also believes that Lewyn is the best coven leader the Clements could ask for. In Chapter 14, Lewyn tricks Nicole into believing that she were to help the humans, but instead, she is caught in his silver blast and is wounded.
Powers and Abilities
- Enhanced Strength: Vampires are stronger than most humans.
- Enhanced Speed: Vampires can travel faster than humans.
- Ley Lines: Ley lines are underground sources of energy that vampires can utilize. They give vampires the ability to be resilient to sunlight.
Weaknesses
- Aversion to Silver: Silver can burn vampires. Several vampire-hunting talismans use silver as a ward against vampires, and specifically prepared silver can paralyze them.
- Decapitation: Dismembering or manually removing the head of a vampire will result in instant and permanent death.
- Sunlight: Originally, vampires found sunlight to be debilitating and were greatly weakened under its gaze. This changed when vampires found ley lines of power that nullified this weakness.
- Ley Lines: While the ley lines nullify the weaknesses vampires have to the sun, this is dependent upon contact with the ley line and if the vampire leaves Crimson Beech, they will swiftly lose this power.
- Vampire Blood: Vampire blood is poisonous to other vampires. Even a drop or two is enough to make a vampire ill.
- Bloodlust: When vampires do not regularly feed, they are in danger of turning "feral", unable to reason with or talk to until the thirst for blood is quenched.
