Spoilers

- On May 18, 2017, PB referred to Most Wanted as on hiatus in a blog. The writers moved onto different projects for now but PB wanted to return to the story but stated that when they did, they wanted to make it properly.[3]
- On March 6, 2019, in response to a statement about how Pixelberry ended up with their name, they subsequently stated that Cheerm, a company in Most Wanted, was one of the ideas.

Trivia
- This is the first series, along with The Crown & The Flame series, that doesn't let the player create their own character.
- It is one of the three original books in the Choices app, along with The Freshman, Book 1 and The Crown & The Flame, Book 1.
- The story takes places in the same era as most of Choices' other series. Given that Alyssa has transitioned from acting to singing by the time of The Freshman series, Most Wanted may be set slightly earlier.
- If you bring Reza along to the internet cafe (premium scene), he will confirm that the story takes place in 2016.
- If you defuse the bomb in Jaime's car in Chapter 11, in Chapter 12 Reza will make a reference to a movie called Hurt Locker, a movie about a bomb defusing squad.
- Most Wanted is mentioned and shown several times in other series as being an arcade game based on true events. In the Endless Summer series, it is revealed that Most Wanted 2 is based on several crazy murder cases in L.A by a cult. This strengthens the idea that all of Choices' series take place in one common universe.
- Since Most Wanted, Book 1 did not feature a cult, this may imply that its canceled sequel may have featured one.
- The style of the dialogue box has now changed to the same style as the Perfect Match series in the latest app update (version 2.3.0).
- In the 2.3.0 update, when you start the book, a warning will pop up, telling you that the book features scenes of violence and shooting, advising the discretion of the players.
- In the 2.3.6 update, the book's cover has seen a modification in the title from red to white color and also the "book one" removed from it.
- As of August 31, 2018, Veil of Secrets, along with The Crown & The Flame trilogy, Endless Summer, Book 2, Hero, Vol. 1, and Most Wanted, Book 1 have had the thumbnails of their book covers updated.
- This is the first story to include strong language, as in Chapter 14, Dave can say to Tull "Let's see if you can fly, a**hole" without censoring it (when Tull gets sucked out of the plane).
- This appears to be a reference to Chapter 1, where Tull said almost the exact same sentence to his victim.
- In The Heist: Monaco, if you get Your Character (The Heist: Monaco)'s good ending, one of your future potential targets is the L.A.R.A. Gala. If you pick this option of becoming Hollywood's most wanted, Rye states that Los Angeles' Major Crimes Task Force has agents from Interpol and the US Marshals.
- In Red Carpet Diaries, Book 3, Chapter 12, Arianna's acting coach proudly tells Your Character (Red Carpet Diaries) that he starred in six episodes of Most Wanted, indicating that Most Wanted is a television series in Red Carpet Diaries.
- Chapter 6 shares the same title as Untameable, Chapter 8, "After Hours".
- Chapter 8 shares the same title as It Lives Beneath, Chapter 13, and Rising Tides, Chapter 11, "Hell or High Water".
