Relationships
The first scene of the book is Your Character meeting with Agent Kim. The latter wants to hear your explanation of the events that took place over the preceding month in Birchport; a case that saw several crimes including what Kim describes as "at least four murders".
So far, in every subsequent chapter, Kim only appears at the very beginning, where he and Your Character reminisce on the events, Your Character often giving their insight on what their state of mind was following the events that happened at the end of the previous chapter.
In Chapter 16, he thanks your character for bringing peace to Birchport and reveals that he won't be pressing charges for the crimes you committed given that they were for the greater good. Before he leaves, he offers your character a job with the FBI.
