Mason Sr., a character in The Nanny Affair series, is Sam's father. Although he is first mentioned in Book 1, Chapter 4, he makes his official appearance in Chapter 8.
Appearances[]
His appearance is determined by the character model of Sam. Excluding facial features, Mason Sr. wears a blue suit with a red tie and a white shirt.
Personality[]
Mason can be described as old-school and old-fashioned. This can be seen from how he pushes and arranges Sam to marry Sofia for the good of the company, even if it's a loveless marriage. He's also quite serious, and at the same time logical when something doesn't go according to plan. As a person, he seems to be caring towards his grandsons.
Background[]
Not much is known about Mason Sr. before the events of the book, other than he was the current CEO of Dalton Enterprises. According to Mayrah however, he's a very well-known billionaire and a philanthropist.

Relationships[]
Your Character[]
You meet for the first time in Chapter 8, after Vivian calls Sam and says that she wants to get to know you. During the same meeting, you can impress them and get them to like you. When you accompany Sam as his/her plus-one at the Gala in Chapter 12, you can use everything you learned from Sofia and convince Miles Houston and Selene d'Torte to invest in the company. If you do, both Mason and Vivian are impressed. When you are invited to the Mayrah show in Book 3, Chapter 3, he and his wife seem to like you and to approve of your relationship with Sam. They also announce on-air that they will host an engagement party for you and Sam.
Sam Dalton[]
Mason is Sam's father. Not much is known about their relationship, but when Sam leaves Sofia at the altar for you, he seems to be understanding and says that he expected something like this would happen. In Book 2, Chapter 2, he pits Sam against Robin in a competition for ownership of the company.
Robin Flores[]
Robin is Mason's "child". In Book 2, after it's revealed that Robin paid Jordan to spy on you and Sam, you devise a plan to take him/her down by talking to Mason about it. When you do, he tells Robin to quit the competition, and says that he/she went too far. Later, if you choose to confront Robin, Mason overhears about his/her hatred towards the Daltons and fires him/her, saying that he will hire him/her back once he/she starts behaving and changes his/her attitude.
