  • A comment on the same Instagram post confirmed that the book will be gender-of-choice.

Trivia

• This book is an April Fool's special.
• This is the second book to release chapters on Tuesday after My Two First Loves.
• The title of Chapter 3 is likely a reference to a clip from the TV show 30 Rock, in which a detective portrayed by Steve Buscemi recounts the time he went undercover as a high school student and spoke the line to a group of students, which only confused them. The clip since gained internet popularity.
• In Chapter 4, the Alpha characters confirm they're aware of the Crimson Beech vampires from Immortal Desires. However, since this book is non-canon, it's not yet confirmed that the two series take place in a shared universe.
• This is the first book to not feature any love interests for the main character.
