If you can breathe, you can stand, and if you can stand, you can fight.
— Lionel & Camellia Nevrakis[1]

Lionel & Camellia, characters in The Royal Romance and The Royal Heir series, were Olivia's parents. Although they are first mentioned in The Royal Romance, Book 1, Chapter 7, they make their first appearance in a premium scene of The Royal Heir, Book 2, Chapter 9.

Appearances

Lionel had brown short hair, green eyes, light skin and a beard. He also had a scar on his left cheek. He wore a blue suit with a white shirt and a purple tie.

Camellia had red medium-length hair, blue eyes, and light skin. She wore a golden necklace, earrings, and a black and red dress with a leaf brooch.

Personalities

According to Lucretia, Lionel was brash and he had the strength to back up his words when needed.

On the other hand, Camellia was independent, clever and fierce. One of her weaknesses was her own husband, Lionel.

In addition, according to Olivia, they wanted more power and they were willing to risk everything to get it, even their lives. They also did not trust anyone.

Background

Camellia and Lionel were Olivia's parents who were killed during a rebellion against Constantine. They were traitors, and according to Olivia, they wanted to step in and claim the throne. King Constantine and his advisors decided to keep this a secret because revealing the plot would had been worse for Cordonia's stability rather than cover it up. Instead, they told everyone that they died protecting Cordonia and serving the Crown.

Relationships

Olivia Nevrakis

Olivia is their daughter. They were training her in combat since she was a child, because they wanted her to take over if something happened to them. Olivia says that she will never forgive them for not caring that they had a child to think of.

In The Royal Romance, Book 3, it is revealed that they signed a betrothal between her and Anton Severus, so that they could take over the crown if something happened to the King and he had no heirs.

In The Royal Holiday, Olivia tells you that her father gave her, her favorite dagger. She cherished the dagger so much that when she accidentally spilled juice on one of her mother's dresses, her mother took it away and hid it as punishment. She also mentions that since their deaths, she has not touched their wing of the estate. Everything had been left as is.

In The Royal Heir, Book 2, Olivia admits that for all their faults, they taught her to get back on her feet no matter what. They were not around to celebrate Olivia's fifth birthday because they were meeting with their supplier regarding "Operation Snowspear".

Anton Severus

Anton was trained by Olivia's parents when he was a child. The reason was because they wanted her and Anton to rule Cordonia together, with the iron might that courses through her veins.

Constantine

Constantine Rys was the one they wanted to overthrow with their rebellion. He says that their betrayal was a shock to everyone. In their "Operation Snowspear", they used an unnamed supplier with deep pockets to help them prepare.
