Appearance
Linda has dark brown shoulder length hair, brown eyes and tan skin. She wears a circle pattern, purple blouse.
Personality
Raising five children on your own is no small task and Linda is a true testament to the perseverance it takes to do such a thing. Linda is a sassy, no-nonsense woman who takes pride in knowing her children are in the right place. However, she is cautious when taking the time to know people. This could be derived from how her eldest daughter Marie was once in an abusive relationship and how her only son Zig received community service simply for standing up for Marie. Considering this, it's easy to assume that life has not been necessarily kind to Linda, but she is still happy with her family around her.

Marie, Sophie, Lucy and Mila are her daughters. At dinner after Zig's dance recital, Linda mentions that Marie runs a non-profit that provides reading programs to low-income students. She also says that Lucy is sixteen and that Mila is fifteen.
Zig Ortega
Zig is Linda's only son. They have a close mother-son relationship.
Ex-Husband
When asked about her ex-husband in a premium scene of The Sophomore, Book 2, she reveals that he was "surky and aggressive". He yelled at her and at their children until the point where she threw him out.
