Relationships

Ian/Ina Kingsley

In Chapter 4, Lexi approaches Professor Kingsley in the stands of the football stadium. Ian/Ina is surprised by her presence and appears uncomfortable but remains polite. If you rescue Ian/Ina from Lexi and go for a quick bite, Ian/Ina tells you that he/she cannot stand Lexi. You joke that Lexi is the type to try to get the waiter from the bar fired for not serving her a drink as soon as she demanded it, and Ian/Ina confirms that Lexi is the type to do it. Still, Lexi is a highly-skilled anthropologist who is a pioneer in her discipline, and Ian/Ina respects her even if Ian/Ina doesn't like her personally. Professor Kingsley has to see Lexi more than what he/she would prefer and can't have Lexi suspecting anything is going on between the two of you.

In Chapter 12, you tell Professor Kingsley about what you talked about with Lexi at lunch. He/she is happy that Lexi won't jeopardize his/her career but still wants to remain careful in public. Even if you do not romance the professor, Lexi knows of his/her attraction towards you which the professor is trying to hide.

In Book 2, Chapter 12, it is revealed that her jealousy over your and Kingsley's relationship led her to ally with X and take the incriminating picture of you two holding hands at Martha's Vineyard last year and later stalk Kingsley and take the video of the two of you at McDermot's. In an effort to get closer to Kingsley, she forged an application to work at the National History Museum in Kingsley's name months ago, waiting for the time Kingsley would be forced to find employment outside of Belvoire. When that time came, she offered Kingsley the job, hoping that the latter would take it and they would work together. When all of this information is revealed to Kingsley, he/she ends his/her friendship with Lexi for good.

Your Character

In Chapter 4, when you go to talk to Professor Kingsley in the stands, you two are interrupted by Lexi. If you choose to recognize her, you mention you read her profile in one of the professor's anthropology magazines and that you love her makeover. If you had recruited Penelope Dogwood to your posse, Lexi mentions that she had lunch with the dean and the dean spoke highly about you. You can choose to give up your seat to her since you will be performing soon, or pull Professor Kingsley out for a quick snack before your routine. Professor Kingsley tells you that Lexi is passionate about his/her work, but you tell the professor that Lexi is interested in more than his/her work.

In Chapter 12, at Martha's Vineyard, you and Professor Kingsley have lunch with Lexi and two of their colleagues. Lexi hints that the professor needs a love life, to which you could respond that Kingsley's work doesn't give him/her the time and that his/her work is important on its own. She asks you to follow her to the ladies room where you two exchange words. She knows you went to the anthropology gala with the professor and tells you that you're not good enough for Kingsley. Even if you are not romancing the professor, she tells you that she wouldn't jeopardize his/her job with news of your relationship with him/her but that the professor belongs to her and you will not steal him/her away. Later that evening, you and Professor Kingsley join a Spring Break party in one of the conference rooms and can choose to play Strip Pong with Lexi. If you do, she is infuriated by the fact that you take off some or all of your clothes and that the professor seems to be enjoying the view.

In Book 2, Chapter 3, you tell Zoey that it is possible that Lexi is "X". Even though she tells you that she doesn't believe it could be her in the beginning, she changes her mind after you two expose Pete Scotch. In Chapter 12, you discover that she is one of X's minions, known as Throwaway1989, when you run into Selene in the quad. Although you are scheduled for a hearing about your impending expulsion from the university, you decide to get revenge against Lexi for her actions. You decide to ruin her tour at the Natural History Museum and feed her false information about the Cordonian exhibit. When she confronts you about it, you have the premium option to tear her down and expose her to The T.
