Relationships
With Each Other
When they toy with Sean's life, Killian tells Maeve that he loves when they do things as a couple.
In Chapter 16, two years after they have been incarcerated, their parole hearing is on the horizon. According to Tomas, they've been able to maintain control over the mob although there has been a shift of leadership. Rumors have it that they've been able to turn some police officers in Boston and Ireland.
Your Character
In Chapter 1, you witness them killing Sean Kelly. They hear sounds coming from your phone but before they can find you, a patrol car appears and they flee the scene of the crime. When you talk to Marshal Otto about them, you tell him that they looked like they were having fun.
In Chapter 8, at your lighthouse gift shop job, you run into Killian and his daughter, Aisling. In Chapter 12, they force Tomas Otto to give them your location in exchange for not harming his family. Their goons chase you from Nantucket to the mainland, and when you arrive there in Chapter 13, you run into Maeve who shoots at you, but Cassian blocks the shot and gets injured as a result.
Marshal Keane
In Chapter 9, Marshal Keane admits to knowing the O'Connells. When he/she worked for the Boston Police Department, Keane spent a year undercover with the Irish Mob. They made Keane do things he/she does not want to describe, but made him/her want to join the Marshals afterwards. Keane feels that his/her time with them gives him/her insight into their patterns and their way of thinking.
Aisling O'Connell
Aisling is their daughter. With Killian, he initially appears to be a reasonable father, telling her to apologize for throwing a tantrum at the lighthouse gift shop where you work. When she wants the compass, he offers a great sum of money despite being told it's a museum exhibit not for sale. It appears that Killian heavily spoils Aisling, which has lead to her expecting to get her way all the time and they are extremely close.
In Chapter 14, Killian tells Aisling to be patient even though she does not want to be. She plans to make you and Marshal Keane pay for putting her parents in prison.

Trivia
- Maeve's character model resembles Hayley from The Elementalists and Maggie from Wishful Thinking.
- She shares the same hairstyle with Brooke Williams from LoveHacks and Gwyneth Monroe from Open Heart: Second Year.
- Her long dress is a slightly altered version of the gala dress worn by Cecile Contreras from the Perfect Match series, including the same necklace (which is golden instead of silver). Her courtroom outfit is an alternated version of Alana Kusuma's casual suit, which also comes from the Perfect Match series.
- Killian is an Anglicized version of the Irish name Cillian that means "war strife" or "church."
- Maeve is also of Irish origin and means "she who intoxicates." There are two figures with the name in mythology, one as warrior Queen of Connacht and the other as a queen of fairies.
- Their crimes include murder and affiliation with organized crime. They hired Finn to kill you and Marshal Keane which is contract killing.
