Jonathan Spencer, a character in the Red Carpet Diaries series, is an agent and was Matt Rodriguez's manager. He makes his first appearance in Book 1, Chapter 2.
Appearance
Jonathan has short black hair with styled stubble, brown eyes and dark skin. He wears a beige blazer over a white button-up shirt, glasses and has earring on his right ear.
Personality
Jonathan is described as cunning, pushy, and overbearing towards Matt. When Matt wanted to keep his profile low by having a party with "a few friends and a beer", he throws a huge and expensive party just to increase his fame. He is willing to resort to low and manipulative ways to make the MC suffer emotionally and physically. This is demonstrated when the MC meet Matt at a party, he shouts at her and orders her to stay away from him. When Matt took the MC with a couple of actors, he was willing to plant a bug and sell hidden secrets and gossip to the paparazzi to force the MC's friends and colleagues to blame the MC for it. In short, he is a shallow man who just cares only about himself for his own benefit.

Jonathan is Matt's manager, playing a key role in the actor's fame. Despite Matt preferring low-key events, Jonathan insists Matt host high end events to maintain his fame and status. He was later fired by Matt in Chapter 14 when it was revealed that he was responsible for leaking the secrets.
