- The Love Interest: The cover appearance of the love interest is obviously based heavily on real-life TikToker Thoren Bradley, and if the Chapter 2 summary is accurate, the character's name is fixed as Bradley Thor. This has led some players to suspect the book's only love interest will not be customizable at all, like Rishi Kalvani from The Promise of Forever, and will have a single unchangeable gender and appearance. This is confirmed in Chapter 1.
- Legality Question: Given that the resemblance between the love interest and a real person is undeniable, some players have wondered if the book is produced as some sort of collab. Some have also wondered about the potential for legal ramifications unless Thoren Bradley gave permission to use his likeness, with the possibility that the book may need to be significantly reworked if he did not. Both PB and Bradley have since confirmed that this is indeed a collab due to many of Bradley's followers asking him to get involved with the romance novel side of the internet.
