The good, the bad, and the almost irrelevant. They are the miscellaneous characters that are there to answer that one question, explain away that one plot hole, assist in adding development to that actually relevant character, or give that good (or bad) advice. We usually never learn their names. They are there and they are gone as soon as they serve their purpose often never to be seen again. They may not be the most memorable but definitely have a role to play. If the "No Image" picture is used, it means that the particular character has only been mentioned and has never physically appeared.
Book 1
Chapter 1
Vampire / Creation (1)
He is a vampire and a follower of The Supreme One that was transformed into a powerful creature at the very beginning of the book. At some point, the same creation reappears in Book 1, Chapter 14, whom you kill using your Talismans.
Drishti
She first appears as "Student." When you get to school, you hear her talking about the latest episode of a show which is likely "The Bachelorette". Later, she tells Tyler not to scare you. Her name is revealed in the Mortal Desires special, as is the fact she's a friend of Libby's and a member of the student government. Her character model resembles Lindsay Basu from Save the Date.
Cheerleader
She greets Gabe with a smile and a good morning as you two walk pass. In Book 1, Chapter 7, she says that Principal Yao suspended her for two days for chewing gum. Her character model resembles Lauren Young from My Two First Loves.
Juliet
If Cas is female, she appears as "Smug Student." Cas threatens to murder her for writing "psycho" on her locker in lipstick, and Juliet points out this makes Cas sound like a "true nut job." The two of them get into a brief fight before Astoria breaks it up. Her name is revealed in the Mortal Desires special. Her character model resembles Chloe St. James from the Queen B series.
Martin
If Cas is male, he appears as "Smug Student" instead of Juliet. His interaction with Cas is largely the same, except that he keyed "psycho" into Cas's locker instead of writing it in lipstick. His name is revealed in the Mortal Desires special, which also makes it clear that he and Juliet are separate characters rather than a gender-determinant version of the same person. His character model resembles Darren from My Two First Loves.
Tyler
He tries to scare you by telling you there are demons in the woods. His character model resembles Alexei Vukoja from Foreign Affairs.
Victim
She is chased and later killed by Cas. Cas says that she was a tourist from out of town. Her character model resembles Amy Stevenson from The Elementalists series.
Chapter 2
William Pearce
He is one of the town's founders. You have the choice to read his journal with Gabe. His character model resembles Ezra Harper from Desire & Decorum, Book 3.
Townsman (1)
He accompanies Pearce as they find the bodies in the woods. His character model resembles Edmund Marlcaster from the Desire & Decorum series.
Townsman (2)
He tells them that all the bodies they found have been in a certain area of the woods. His character model resembles the navy sailor from Distant Shores.
Widow Blackwood
She is James Blackwood's widow who is hysterical when she learns her husband was killed. Less than a fortnight (two weeks) later, she disappears. While her body wasn't found, William Pearce fears that she was killed as well. Her character model resembles Serafina from the Rules of Engagement series.
Townswoman
She is scared when the widow says it was demons who took her husband. Her character model resembles Mrs. Watmore from The Unexpected Heiress.
Townsman (3)
He says that the widow has gone mad. His character model resembles Baron Cosman from the Desire & Decorum series.
Odd Townsperson (1)
Pearce comes upon two odd townspeople in the forest. When he notices the trees, the male says that he has them to thank. They pay tribute to the trees, honor them, and they flourish. In a premium scene in Book 2, Chapter 15, it is revealed that he was killed by Constance Harlow. He also appears in a Book 3, Chapter 9 premium scene as "Venandi Vampire." His character model resembles Isak from Hot Couture.
Odd Townsperson (2)
She also appears in a Book 3, Chapter 9 premium scene as "Clement Vampire." Her character model resembles Octavia from Distant Shores.
Chapter 3
Mr. Phillips
He is yours and Gabe's economics professor. His character model resembles Winston Reese from Crimes of Passion, Book 1.
Chapter 4
David Yu
You notice David's absence from school - along with Cas, Seth, Missy Patel, and Bridget Taylor - after Cas warns you to lay low while the coven spends the week feeding.
Little Girl
After leaving your mother's office, you find Gabe in a hospital room playing guitar to a group of kids in gowns. She is one of them. If you want, you can sing a song along with Gabe for the kids in a premium scene. Her character model resembles a version of Hazel Harris from My Two First Loves.
Josh
After leaving your mother's office, you find Gabe in a hospital room playing guitar to a group of kids in gowns. He is one of them. If you want, you can sing a song along with Gabe for the kids in a premium scene. His character model resembles Simon Waverley from The Haunting of Braidwood Manor.
Little Kid

Manager (1)
He is the manager of the arcade where Libby works. His character model resembles Josh Morello from Red Carpet Diaries.
Zombies
In the game Monsters in Manhattan, zombies have taken over Times Square and you and Gabe must fight them. These zombies resemble Angel's parents in Wake the Dead.
Pizza Vendor
If when playing the game Monsters in Manhattan you choose a piece of pizza as a weapon to fight against zombies, he is the pizza vendor who gets angry when you steal it. His character model resembles Alfonso from Blades of Light and Shadow, Book 1.
Sarah Adalhard
If you decide to walk through the graveyard with Gabe, you learn about Sarah, Gabe's late grandmother. She had been doing genealogy research into the family's history and learned about vampires through that. Once she learned about them, she told Gabe the truth. The reason Gabe became a vampire was because Sarah was captured and tortured by Astoria as revenge for her capture and torture by the Captain centuries ago. Gabe offered himself/herself in his/her grandmother's place, and Lewyn convinced Astoria to turn Gabe instead of killing him/her.
Young Sarah's character model resembles Isabella DeLune from The Elementalists: Winters Past, and her older character model resembles Teresa Martinez from Open Heart.
Chapter 5
Attendant
He asks you to take the PDA elsewhere after you get your prize. His character model resembles Ward from The Elementalists series.
Festival Goer
Her character model resembles Mel from Rising Tides.
Masked Attacker (1)
He is one of the masked vampires that attack you. After he is killed, Cas rips off his owl mask and sees his face, discovering that he is a Venandi. His full view character model resembles Han from the America's Most Eligible series.
Masked Attacker (2)
She is one of the masked vampires that attack you. Her character model resembles Anika Desphande as Devona from Crimes of Passion, Book 1.
Masked Attacker (3)
He is one of the masked vampires that attack you. His character model resembles various bronze-masked Cultists from Crimes of Passion, Book 1.
Chapter 6
Louis Duchesne
He is a vampire who turned his human lover to prevent her from dying. He is referred to as Louis Grenville in Book 2, Chapter 9, which was likely one of his human aliases. If you read Esme's diary, you discover that the two of them were killed by Vampire Hunters not long after being banished from Crimson Beech. His character model resembles Viscount Westonly.
Esme Taylor
She is the newly-turned vampire and love of Louis. In Book 2, Chapter 9 her diary details that Louis turned her because she was dying from an illness, as well as what life was like for her and Louis after their banishment before their eventual deaths. Her character model resembles Elena Vo from Bloodbound, Book 1.
Ice Cream Scooper
His character model resembles Tony Flores from Wishful Thinking.
Chapter 7
Willow
She first appears as "Student" when she witnesses a fight between the Clements and the Venandis. Her name is revealed in the Mortal Desires special, as is the fact she's a member of the student government. Her character model resembles Amber Hutchinson from High School Story: Class Act.
Spectator
He is a student witnessing the fight between the Clements and the Venandis. His character model resembles Lorenzo Toro from High School Story: Class Act.
Semaj
She first appears as "Spectator." When Margo demonstrates her vampire strength, Semaj is shocked by how she did it. Her name is revealed in the Mortal Desires special, which also reveals that she's the one who accidentally almost hit you with a football on your first day at school. Her character model resembles Erin Ward from High School Story: Class Act.
Malcolm
He first appears as "Student." If you try to clear the crowd by saying Principal Yao is coming, he tries to get people to move. His name is revealed in the Mortal Desires special, as is the fact he's one of the school's star athletes. His character model resembles Anton Edison from The Heist: Monaco.
Mrs. Hernandez
She is your history professor, a class you share with Harrison.
Clement Vampire (1)
The Clement vampires tell you about the founding of Crimson Beech and the vampire hunters that hunted them. This vampire's character model resembles Rupert Foredale from Desire & Decorum.
Joseph
He is with the first vampire, and doesn't think he can continue. His character model resembles Sir Nathaniel Rourke from Nightbound.
Vampire Hunter (1)
He is one of the hunters pushing the vampires out of their sanctuaries. His character model resembles Elijah Ryder from Nightbound.
Vampire Hunter (2)
He is one of the hunters pushing the vampires out of their sanctuaries. His character model resembles the captain of the cargo ship from Distant Shores.
In the April Fool's book Main Character Energy, an identical character appears as "Captain Adalhard." However, since that book is non-canon and was released much later, it's unclear if this character was always meant to be Gabe's famous ancestor.
Clement Vampire (2)
He is one of the vampires pleading for his life. He reappears in Book 3, Chapter 15 as "Past Vampire." His character model resembles a Navy Officer from Distant Shores.
Venandi Vampire (1)
She is the vampire who crossed the invisible barrier and discovered the power of the ley line. She reappears in Book 3, Chapter 15 as "Past Vampire." Her character model resembles a version of Mary from the Desire & Decorum series.
Chapter 8
Nurse
This nurse appears if you don't buy the premium outfit. If you decide to hide in the nurse's station, she will ask you what you're doing. If not, she informs your mother that Doctor Riviera has a question for her in his office. She appears again in Book 1, Chapter 14. Her character model resembles Sarah from the Open Heart series.
Maxwell Lugosi
When you, Gabe and Cas go to the hospital to falsify the toxicology report, you find his name on the computer screen. Gabe reveals that Maxwell is a Clement vampire who was on patrol duty in the woods the previous night, which made you realize that whoever's behind the murders is after other vampires too. If you take the premium scene to examine his body, Gabe also tells you that he worked in a bakery downtown and enjoyed posing as a human.
Chapter 9
Fernanda
She's a vampire and a part of the Flagstone Cove. You have the chance to fight her and Remus in the ring with Cas. Her character model resembles Lena Ortiz from The Heist: Monaco. In Book 2, Chapter 6, she is revealed to have survived the Creator's attack on Flagstone Cove.
Remus
He's a vampire and a part of the Flagstone Cove. You have the chance to fight him and Fernanda in the ring with Cas. His character model resembles Mario Bautista from Bachelorette Party. In Book 2, Chapter 6, he is revealed to have survived the Creator's attack on Flagstone Cove.
Chapter 11
Baby Deer
You encounter the baby deer outside the ley line. Its character model resembles the Deer from the Desire & Decorum series.
Mystery Writer
He's a vampire. If you explore the cave with Gabe and Cas, you find a letter by him regarding the talismans. His character model resembles the First Spear from A Courtesan of Rome.
Bear
After leaving the ley line, you encounter the bear at midday when it comes out of the bushes in front of you. Because Cas and Gabe are weakened by the sun-poisoning, you have to face the bear personally. Its character model resembles The Bear from The Crown & The Flame series.
Chapter 12
Anton / Creation (2)
He's a follower of the Supreme One who the latter transforms into a creation. His character model resembles Terrence from High School Story, Book 3.
Enemy Vampire (1)
He's a follower of the Supreme One. When Shiloh orders him to attack you, you end up killing him. His character model resembles Pedro Cruz from Open Heart: Third Year.
Enemy Vampire (2)
He's a follower of the Supreme One. His character model resembles a version of Elijah Harris from My Two First Loves.
Enemy Guard (1)
He's a follower of the Supreme One. He says that the Flagstone Cove vampires didn't stand a chance. His character model resembles a Prison Guard from The Heist: Monaco.
Enemy Guard (2)
He's a follower of the Supreme One. He says that he is stuffed, and that if he knew that it'd be this easy, he would had killed the Flagstone Cove vampires decades ago. His character model resembles a Prison Guard from The Heist: Monaco.
Creation (3)
They are one of the Supreme One's creation. They say that they never felt this powerful, that their sight is very clear, and that they can hear for miles. Gabe kills it in Book 1, Chapter 14.

She's a follower of the Supreme One. When Shiloh orders her to attack you, you end up killing her. Her character model resembles a version of Faith Park from High School Story: Class Act, Book 3.

Mourner (Female)
She is mourning for a female person who she was told has ignored the warnings and went to the school instead of the hospital. Her character model resembles Professor Bhatt from It Lives In The Woods.
Mourner (Male)
He is close to the female mourner since he calls her dear. He tells her that they have to accept what happened instead of thinking of what-ifs. He reappears in one path of Book 3, Chapter 15 as "Townsperson." His character model resembles Michael Kim from Veil of Secrets.
Book 2
Chapter 1
Vampire Guard
In Book 2, Chapter 1, after using the talisman of your choice, he somehow manages to grab you, Gabe and Cas. He then puts you into a cell and leaves you three there, which you later escape. He is seen again in Book 2, Chapter 13 when he initially attempts to keep you out of the Nexus, but agrees to let you in after you reveal information you've learned on the vampire hunters. In Book 3, Chapter 3, if you don't collect the Light Flash Rune, he attempts to attack Sage and is killed when she turns him to stone. His character model resembles Emilio Salazar from Ride or Die: A Bad Boy Romance.
Sylvester Perry
He is shown being hunted by an unknown group, who subdue him with silver manacles. In Book 2, Chapter 4, you find him dead from both silver and sun poisoning. He is identified by Cas as Sylvester Perry, an envoy for the covens. He was sent to Flagstone Cove, helping them rebuild their home and restore their unstable ley line. You, Gabe, and Cas can read his coded journal in a premium scene of Book 2, Chapter 6 which reveals that he was aware of being followed and therefore cut off his diplomatic journey to another coven to come back to Crimson Beech to warn the others of the threat. His character model resembles Chadley Fortnum from Red Carpet Diaries.
Chapter 2
Missy Patel
She is a student from your Chem class and one of the newer Clement vampires. She was first mentioned in Book 1, Chapter 4 when you notice her missing from school at the same time as Cas, Seth, and two other presumed vampires, but you don't officially meet her until after being turned yourself. Her character model resembles Nehal Mistry from The Elementalists.
Bridget Taylor
She is one of your Clement classmates. Like Missy, she is first mentioned in Book 1, Chapter 4 as being absent from school alongside several other confirmed and presumed vampires, and you only meet her officially once you begin training with the covens. Her character model resembles Claudia Rhodes from Murder at Homecoming.
Otter
If you go with Gabe to a wharf, you notice this character underwater. Its character model resembles the Otter from It Lives Beneath.
Chapter 3
Carrie
She is a clerk at the clothing store. She appears if you choose to buy another outfit. Her name is revealed in Book 3, Chapter 16. Her character model resembles Mariana Castillo from Baby Bump.
Chapter 4
James Morris
He is a vampire who received the Needle Brand for showing his fangs and scaring a human he disliked on Halloween Night. His character model resembles the human version of Krom from Nightbound.
Mary Porter
She is a vampire who received the Needle Brand for revealing herself to save a human child. Although she has the same appearance as the Venandi who first discovered the ley lines in Book 1, Chapter 7, she is unlikely to be the same character. Mary's punishment for revealing herself to a human was said to be specific to newly-turned vampires, while the Venandi was already a vampire before the ley lines were even discovered, before the covens merged, and before humans began to move into the area. Her character model resembles a version of Eleanor Rys from The Royal Romance.
Elizabeth Porter
She is Mary's sister who was also branded for helping Mary. Her character model resembles Dorothea from Distant Shores.
Mrs. Croft
She and her 5 year old son William were doing the washing when William was swept away. Her character model resembles Sage from The Royal Masquerade.
William Croft
The Porter sisters saved him from drowning, and in doing so revealed their vampire nature to his mother, who was shocked by their speed and strength.
Donald Burke
He got the Needle Brand for revealing himself to get revenge on his employer. His character model resembles Walt Arbogast from Wake the Dead.
Mr. Smith
He was Donald's employer who fired Donald because he suddenly knew Donald was a vampire. His character model resembles Zeke Jones from Save the Date.
Violet Markum
She got the Needle Brand for revealing herself to her human lover. Her character model resembles Rebecca Seymour from The Unexpected Heiress.
Richard
He was Violet's lover who was repulsed by Violet's true nature. His character model resembles Francis Somerset from The Unexpected Heiress.
Deimos
An ancient vampire leader who was a fierce warrior and was loved by his coven. For centuries, his coven fought against a race of demons called The Swarm until a parley was called. Deimos walked into a trap and allowed himself to be killed in order for his coven to escape. His sacrifice was seen as so pure that the universe sent his spirit into the night sky and he became the Moon. It is said that the most powerful coven leaders are able to call down the power of the Moon to protect them from their enemies, including the Sun.
Chapter 5
Clement (1)
During the Nexus meeting after Sylvester's body was found, she asks what he was doing outside of the ley lines. In Book 2, Chapter 9, she is angry with you over the rumor that you killed your own mother. Her character model resembles Anika Grover from Open Heart: Third Year.
Claire
She is a Venandi vampire who demands answers concerning Sylvester's death, wondering if there was something the coven leaders didn't tell them. In Book 2, Chapter 7, it is revealed that she and George saved Cas from Denise's gang and introduced him/her to the coven. Her character model resembles Astra from The Princess Swap.
George Galvez
He is a Venandi vampire who wonders why Sylvester was on his way to Flagstone Cove since he heard they were wiped out. This leads to Lewyn revealing that there have been some survivors. In Book 2, Chapter 7, it is revealed that he and Claire saved Cas from Denise's gang and introduced him/her to the coven. His character model resembles Will from Laws of Attraction.
Lucas
Lucas is one of the Nexus guards who knew Sylvester and who mentions that Sylvester was too smart to travel during the day so Lucas wonders if he was running from a failed Creation. In Book 2, Chapter 9, it is revealed that he saw you and Lennox running in opposite directions, which clued him in that you must have revealed yourself to Lennox. His character model resembles Neil from Ms. Match.
Diego
He is your sparring partner during Elder Kaufman's lesson. Diego states about himself that he has two hundred pounds of muscle on his side. He's been alive since at least the 18th century. His character model resembles Finn McDonough from Witness: A Bodyguard Romance.
Chapter 6
Marcela Garin
She is the leader of the Flagstone Cove vampires who is saddened since the Creator had decimated the vampires, and started the ceremony. Her character model resembles Julia Rivera from The Royal Heir.
Cove Vampire
She is a member of the Flagstone Cove vampires who saddened since the Creator had decimated the vampires. Her character model resembles Maricela Espinoza from America's Most Eligible.
Elder Ferguson
She is your instructor for your lesson with the Venandis. Her character model resembles Minna Arbogast from Wake the Dead.
Drone
The Venandi R&D department developed robotic drones to serve as hunting decoys after the use of human captives was permanently banned. You can choose the name of the one assigned to you (default is Milton) and hunt it down either on your own, or with the help of Cas in a premium scene.
Deer
If you attempt to track your drone by listening for its footsteps, you end up following a deer instead.
Chapter 7
Denise
She was one of Cas' classmates when he/she was human. Cas thought she cared for him/her, until she stole his/her only memento of his/her family, a book. Her character model resembles Morgan Jennings from High School Story.
Sam
He was one of Denise's friends who helped her bully Cas who wanted his/her book back. He and the others only stopped hurting Cas when Claire and George intervened. His character model resembles Kyle Garza from It Lives Beneath.
Penny
She was one of Denise's friends and helped her bully Cas until Claire and George intervened. Her character model resembles Hayley from The Elementalists.
Partyer (1)
She only appears if you choose to crash the party during your race with Gabe. Her character model resembles Lina from America's Most Eligible.
Partyer (2)
He only appears if you choose to crash the party during your race with Gabe. His character model resembles Henri Garnier from Foreign Affairs.
Chapter 9
Caleb
He is a Venandi member of the Tribunal Chamber. After you're accused of killing your mother, he states that he loves the smell of burning skin and hopes you'll be branded publicly. He is later seen in Book 2, Chapter 13 when he attempts to enforce your banishment from the Nexus, but relents and allows you inside after Terri backs up your claim that the vampire hunters have enough weapons to wipe out the covens. His character model resembles Bennet from Bloodbound.
Vampire Hunter (3)
When playing as Esme, you manage to lose her after she chases you. Her character model resembles Maggie from Distant Shores.
Vampire Hunter (4)
When playing as Esme, you manage to lose him after he chases you. His character model resembles Henry from Distant Shores.
Baby Fox
It only appears if you investigate the glowing red spot after receiving your Heat Signature Ability. You come across a litter of fox kits that are startled to see you. Its character model resembles the fox from The Royal Masquerade.
Vampire Hunter (5)
She tells McKee that for some weapons to work, they would have to get close to the vampires which seems dangerous to her. In Book 2, Chapter 10, she follows your projection if you use it. In Book 2, Chapter 11, you can blind her with the mirrors of the premium outfit. Her character model resembles Ximena from Ride Or Die: A Bad Boy Romance.
Vampire Hunter (6)
He cannot wait to see some of the weapons against vampires in action. In Book 2, Chapter 10, he hears the noise your group made and asks what the noise was. In Book 2, Chapter 11, you can blind him with the mirrors of the premium outfit. He later attacks you with a silver chain. His character model resembles Jean-Paul Hardgrave from Red Carpet Diaries.

Marty commiserates about the difficulty of having Lewyn for a boss and offers a shoulder to cry on if you ever need it. Mrs. Peters
If you and Gabe choose to race home from the hospital using your vampire speed, you startle her by appearing suddenly on a street that had been empty a moment before.
Although she has the same appearance as "Gladys's Mom" from Book 1, Chapter 14, it's unlikely they're meant to be the same person since Mrs. Peters is described as an old lady and Gladys is a young child. Her character model resembles Kim Washington from Perfect Match.
Camper
He's your victim if you go hunting for blood with Cas. You have the option to knock him out before feeding, and although Cas would not have made that choice, he/she still helps you stage the scene to make the camper think he cut himself on a sharp stick when he wakes up. Your other choice is to kill the camper outright. Either way, you find the experience exhilarating. His character model resembles Jackson Walker from The Royal Romance.
