- This is the first sequel that PB has decided to release after initially announcing that it was a standalone.
- This is the first sequel to release more than 2 chapters at once.
- Although this is the first sequel to be announced as being released first to VIPs by PB, Unbridled: An Untameable Story was initially going to be the first VIP-first sequel. However, after changes to the schedule shown in the September 2023 Insiders, The Cursed Heart, Book 2 became the first VIP-first sequel instead.
- Despite starting at the exact same moment Book 1 has ended, this book does not import the outfit worn in this scene from Book 1 but instead places Your Character in a default outfit for both the Book 1 recap and the Book 2 initial scene.
- When seeing the drones used for the hunting training in Chapter 6, Your Character can ask if this is Star Wars . Seth will then call the drones BB Vamps (with BB meaning blood bag) in reference to the droid BB-8.
