Heze, a character in the Across the Void series, is an injured Vanguard pilot picked up by the Atlas. She is first seen in Chapter 5.
Appearance
Heze has short brown hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin with freckles. She wears a gray collared shirt. As part of the Apri, she has blue whips around her arms and therefore it can be assumed that like Titania, Heze can materialize additional limbs.
Personality
Despite being a spy for the Vanguard, Heze has shown remorse for poisoning the Jura's water supply that led to the deaths of dozens of their soldiers. However, if Main Character decides to turn her over to the Jura, she will stop feeling remorse and state she did what she had to. She tells Main Character that he/she has no idea what war does to a person.
Background
She is a spy for the Vanguard working undercover among the Jura where she was ordered to poison their water supply in an attempt to get them to surrender. However, this led to several dozen soldiers dying from drinking the contaminated water or refusal to drink. According to Kepler, this act qualifies as a war crime.
