Grant Emerson, a character in the Veil of Secrets book, is a defense lawyer in Birchport and one of your love interests. He makes his first appearance in Chapter 1.
Appearance
Grant has dark skin and brown eyes. His hair is black and shaved, and he has a stubble. He usually wears a blue shirt with white dots.
Personality
Grant is shown to be kind, offering to show you around Sterling Manor, and flirtatious. He is often very helpful, calling the police to the Sterling Manor upon Kate's disappearance, and is one of the few people who offers to help you look around for information about what could've happened to her. If you flirt with him upon meeting him, he will be surprised of how direct you are, indicating that he would not do that himself. In Chapter 12, if you suggest that Grant named his boat Reckless, Naomi will state that there is nothing reckless about him.

In Chapter 14, you tell Kate that you think he is like a one-man Justice League. In Chapter 16, you can choose to stay with him or say goodbye.
