Grant helps Zack Zilberg and his friends repair the damages of Vasquez's house. They begin dating at the end of The Sophomore, Book 2 and celebrate their anniversary in The Senior, Chapter 10. It is later revealed that Zack and Grant want to move in together.

Burpy

Burpy is Grant's dog.

He is a student at Hartfeld under the Master's program in Historic Preservation and his dream job is to flip houses.
He shares the same forename as Grant Emerson, a character from the Veil of Secrets book, and Grant Holmes, a character from the Surrender series.
In The Sophomore, Book 2, Chapter 9, he mentions that he is a fan of the animated film FernGully.
