Gladys, a character in The Royal Romance series, is the majordomo of Duchy "Valtoria". She is first seen in Book 3, Chapter 13.
Appearance
Gladys has blonde hair tied in a braid in the front and in a low bun in the back, gray eyes, and fair skin. She wears a white dress shirt, a black tie, gray vest, and a black business suit.
Personality
Not much is known about her personality. From Chapter 13, she is shown as kind, dutiful, and loyal to your character. She is also shown to be detail-oriented and excellent at multitasking, as she helps Madeleine with your wedding preparations.
Prior to your character arriving, the previous duchess she worked for was extremely cruel and forced several of her workers to their breaking points. This caused Gladys to join the Liberation Core, where she believed she could make nobles see how their actions affected their servants. It was during this time that she met Claudius, the right hand man for Anton, who manipulated her into betraying you.

Your Character
As the new Duchess of Valtoria, Gladys is your majordomo. In Chapter 20, she betrays you to Anton. You can choose as a diamond choice to hear her side of the story and give her a second chance. You can also choose to lock her in the armory (per Olivia's suggestion) or have her lead some of Anton's men on a wild goose chase.

Trivia
- Prior to your arrival, Gladys was working on designs to change Valtoria's sigil from a dove to a Phoenix. You have the premium option to choose the latter.
- If you choose to free her in Book 3 Chapter 21, she reveals that her family served Valtoria for generations, and that she joined the Liberation Core out of desperation, which she describes as "just a small collective of servants trying to get the nobles to listen to [them]."
