Your Character
Gene is your boss and when you become Talent's tour manager in an attempt to help save him/her from being dropped by Infinity Records and thereby prove your worth, Gene threatens to end your career before it starts if you mess up. Talent later tells you about his/her suspicion that Gene actively sabotages the two of you.
Talent
In Chapter 1, after Talent caused drama with a paparazzo who repeatedly provoked him/her by asking about Veronique's album, Gene is angry with Talent and brings the two of you to Mr. Deacon. While you two convince them to not drop Talent immediately, Gene threatens to drop Talent for good in case Talent causes more scandals. During the tour, Talent comes to the conclusion that Gene is actively sabotaging the two of you. It was also Gene who gave Talent's music to Veronique after Talent had signed away the rights to all the music he/she wrote while under contract with the label.
