Garrus, a character from the Nightbound book, is a fae, a bartender and owner of the bar, Graveyard Shift. You meet him in Chapter 2, along with Ivy and Krom.
Appearance
Garrus has white skin, blue eyes, and white hair that licks up in the front. He has some stubble on his face, has pointy ears, and wears a white button up with a gray vest over the top. He is noted to be slim.
Personality
When Lord Elric mentions having met your mother at the Graveyard Shift, he mentions Garrus, although not by name: he says that it's run by one of the Fae, "[a] marvelous rapscallion with a truly noble heart".
Garrus states he doesn't want to use his gifts for violence but makes an exception to avenge his duke's death by helping you confront Thomas. During the fight, he is seen making several snarky comments towards the skeletons. He is outgoing as Krom mentions that he seemingly flirts with everyone. Krom also describes him as glamorous and charming and states that unlike him, Garrus always knows exactly what to say.
Background
Garrus was the heir of a Fae viscount before the Fae cast him out. He remains exiled until this day. He was banished for running cons and swindling magic off the upper crust. As Krom puts it, it is called 'redistribution of wealth'. The Fae court was too uptight for him and he needed his freedom. He dreams of returning to the Fae kingdom. After he was expelled from the Fae realm, he approached The Fate as a supplicant. She denied his appeal and he has been sworn never to speak of what passed between them.

Relationships
Krom
In Chapter 6, it is revealed that Krom has a crush on Garrus. Your Character is able to mention that Garrus calls him "darling", but Krom thought that is because Garrus flirts with everyone. If you encourage Krom, he will ask Garrus out for a date and Garrus will accept.
Your Character
In Chapter 8, when you ask Garrus what happened between him and The Fate, he tells you that he'd do almost anything to help you but his home is already lost to him and he can't risk crossing The Fate as well by telling you.
Powers and Abilities
- Health and Immortality / Longevity: According to Cal, the Faes have the longest age among all other supernaturals. When you ask Lord Elric whether you will live as long as him, he asks about illnesses to which you reply that you have almost never been ill. He then states that you may draw health and longevity from his line. Garrus is revealed to have been already alive in the 1800s.
- Glamour: It's a spell, like a magical photoshop, that makes them appear human when regular humans look at them. You note his glamour upon first seeing him.
- Magic: The Fae are high-level magic users, capable of creating wards that nothing can get past and that at the same time prevent any beings inside the warded place from attacking themselves or others. This is demonstrated when Katherine either has you try to hurt her with a knife or tries to stab herself with it. Garrus is noted to have protection wards around the tavern.
- Light Manipulation / Light Blade Construction: Lord Elric teaches you to how to create a crystal of light in the same scene. It is confirmed that full-blooded Fae like Garrus can do this as well as he creates a weapon of light when fighting Thomas and the skeletons.
- Several Fae use magic to heal wounds in Chapter 13. Thus it can be assumed Garrus can use healing magic as well.
- Night Vision: When about to confront Thomas at an abandoned warehouse at night, Garrus tells Krom that he as Fae has excellent night vision.
