Marshal Keane
Tomas is Marshal Keane's supervisor. Because of this, Marshal Keane asks you to keep your relationship with him/her a secret from Tomas. When you three arrive in Nantucket, he tells Marshal Keane that he/she will be living downstairs from you. His/her cover will be a work exchange contractor helping you fix up your house.
In Chapter 9, Marshal Keane jokes with him about having a burner phone to call take calls from his family. Tomas is only supposed to use encrypted channels.
Your Character
In Chapter 2, after you witness Killian & Maeve O'Connell killing Sean Kelly, a police squad takes you to the police station. There, Tomas introduces himself to you and his friendly demeanor puts you at ease. He tells you what you witnessed and that after killing Kelly, the O'Connells now control the majority of organized crime in the city. He tells you that they will put you in witness protection until you can testify in court against them. He explains that you cannot tell anyone for fear that you will be placing them in danger, but that they'll be able to maintain your living and working situation for when you return. When you have no choice, he thanks you for doing your part in helping keep his kids and other families safe.
He with Marshal Keane take you to Nantucket. He tells you that he will be staying on the houseboat, keeping an eye on things in town as well as maintaining the quick getaway should the need arise. In Chapter 9, after your run-in with Killian O'Connell and his daughter, you and Marshal Keane go to talk to Tomas. Tomas tells you that your cover is still intact but the O'Connells made bail. The Marshals, FBI, and State Police are tracking their credit cards and cars.

In Chapter 12, Tomas tells you that the O'Connells tapped his burner phone and found his family. To ensure their safety, he was forced to disclose your location.
