Ian/Ina Kingsley, a character in the Queen B series, is a professor at Belvoire University and one of Your Character's love interests. He/she is first seen in Book 1, Chapter 1.

Ian/Ina's gender and look is determined by the player. Ian wears a white shirt and brown vest with a purple tie and dark blue jeans. Ina wears a pink top with green jacket and tight skirt. Ian/Ina has a small scar just below his/her lower lip. Ian wears cedarwood and orange cologne.

Ian/Ina is a private individual, projecting an air of mystery and unattainability to most people around him/her. He/she strives to be professional in his/her job.

Relationships
Your Character
During your first encounter, he/she offers you a drink. To him/her, you have an air about you that is refreshing and radiant and different than what he/she sees on an ordinary basis. You have the chance to flirt and/or kiss him/her in Chapter 1 and the opportunity to become intimate later in a premium scene. If you decide on the latter, Ian/Ina will tell you if asked that he/she doesn't ordinarily hook up with random strangers in a bar and that you're one of a kind. He/she asks to give you his/her cell phone number afterwards with the hope that you two might continue or pursue a relationship.
The next day though, you discover that he/she is your anthropology professor. After class ends, he/she will tell you to forget the things that happened in the bar because he/she wants to stay professional for the sake of his/her occupation. Even though you continue to flirt and may test how far you can push Ian/Ina, he/she is still affected by your presence. Professor Kingsley admits to being cautious because of how he/she feels towards you.
In Chapter 8, you decide to attend the gala where Professor Kingsley is being presented an award. That takes him/her by surprise, and for the evening, he/she forgets that you are his/her student. You two laugh and talk at the gala, and Professor Kingsley introduces you to his/her mentor. Later, you have the choice to kiss him/her in the rain, and to become intimate (again) if you desire. Whether or not you two kiss and/or become intimate, when you two part ways, Ian/Ina looks lost, as if he/she is contemplating his/her feelings and what just transpired.
In Chapter 9, you decide to talk to Professor Kingsley about the previous night. If you have not been romancing the professor at all, he/she is still attracted to you and tells you that he/she cannot fight his/her feelings any longer. You can squash them again or kiss him/her and start romancing the professor. If you have been previously romancing the professor, you can decide how much further you want to take the romance or if you want to try to remain professional. If you decide to remain professional, you can still change your mind in the following premium intimate scene; if you do, Ian/Ina will point out that you are sending mixed messages as well when you argue with him/her about his/her hot and cold behavior.
In Chapter 10, Ian/Ina brings the police with him/her when a phone call from you alerts him/her to the potential danger you are in with Benji. Ian/Ina punches Benji in the face and is there beside you when you give the police your statement. You can choose to have the professor stay with you for dinner or decide that you need some time alone. In Chapter 12, you accompany the professor to the anthropology conference at Martha's Vineyard, where you try to dissuade Lexi's interest in him/her. Even if you are not romancing the professor, Ian/Ina becomes jealous of your dance partner dancing next to you and pulls you back to your room. You have the opportunity to become intimate (again) if you choose to. No matter your choice and your relationship with Ian/Ina, Poppy texts you a picture of you two holding hands by the pool and blackmails you.
From this point, you avoid Ian/Ina as much as possible, not knowing who is spying on you and taking pictures. Even if you do not romance the professor, you do not want Ian/Ina to lose his/her job and you want to put as much space as possible between the two of you. Because of this and your refusal to tell Ian/Ina what is happening regarding the blackmail, he/she feels hurt and confused. Inevitably, you reveal everything after the alumni gala and the Person to Watch Award Winner is announced in Chapter 16. There, you can explain and either admit to Ian/Ina that you were using him/her and do not wish to continue the romance or say that it may have started that way but that you developed real feelings for him/her and he/she was your solace in all the drama that occurred during the year.
When you return to the gala, you find out that the picture taken at Martha's Vineyard has been posted to 'The T' which jeopardizes Ian/Ina's position at the university. If you decide to spend time with him/her during the summer in Miami, the mysterious 'X' who posted the incriminating photo sends you a text with a picture of you two on the beach. You are also present when he/she receives an email from Dean Steinhelm placing him/her on administrative leave while they conduct a disciplinary hearing.
In Book 2, Chapter 7, X posts to The T that Ian/Ina never cared for you and was simply using you for research purposes. When you go to confront Professor Kingsley, he/she tells you that X posted excerpts from his/her journal out of context, editing it to make it seem like he/she thought you were the worst example of the Belvoire's social construct when in reality, he/she feels you are the opposite.
Lexi Montgomery
Lexi Montgomery is a colleague in Professor Kingsley's anthropological circle. If you decide to save the professor from her in Chapter 4, Professor Kingsley tells you that he/she has to see Lexi more than preferred and can't have her suspecting anything is going on between the two of you. Kingsley says that Lexi is awful and he/she can't stand her. He/she tells you that Lexi is passionate about his/her work, but you tell the professor that Lexi is interested in more than work. You call Lexi "Ms. Thirsty" the way that she talks to Kingsley.
In Book 2, when Kingsley is fired from Belvoire University for being seen with you at McDermots, Lexi offers him/her a position at the Natural History Museum. When you talk to Kingsley in his/her apartment about his/her career, Kingsley admits that he/she admires Lexi professionally and doesn't find it odd that Lexi came up with a solution to his/her job dilemma. However, when you expose Lexi for her role in getting Kingsley fired, Kingsley is disgusted by her actions and dissolves their friendship despite the number of years they had been friends.
Marguerite Steinhelm
Dean Steinhelm is Professor Kingsley's boss. In Chapter 9, she comes to Kingsley's office to inform him/her that the New York Anthropological Society has asked him/her to be their keynote speaker at their Perspectives on Culture and Society conference at Martha's Vineyard. Belvoire University has been pleased with his/her work over the past few years and hopes he/she will do them proud at the conference.
In Chapter 16, the Dean is livid when the photos of him/her and you holding hands by the pool get leaked. She emails him/her during the summer, informing him/her that he/she is placed on administrative leave and that there will be a disciplinary hearing before the school board. In Book 2, Chapter 1, at the hearing, she tells you and the professor that he/she will be fired and you will be expelled if the two of you are caught together again.
