The Arcade is a generic entertainment location that is featured across different series and books. Many cities have an arcade, but it is unclear if the arcades are part of the same business franchise.

Background

The arcade has arcade game cabinets. In most cases, it contains a roller rink. In other cases, it is connected to a movie theater or bowling alley. The most noticeable arcade games are Monster Mash, The Crown & The Flame, and Most Wanted.

In Chapter 5, Main Character (Bachelorette Party) can hang out with Reed after taking care of Diana post-Destroyer-mode. They play a round of pinball, Pac-Man, or Street Fighter, and later go skating around the roller rink.

The Freshman

Kaitlyn: The Perfect Date

Kaitlyn takes Your Character (The Freshman) to the arcade in Northbridge for retro roller skating.

The Freshman, Book 3 (Determinant)

In Chapter 10, you can spend time with Abbie Bishop and catch up with her at the arcade. There you two play Skee Ball, and later she suggests a round of "Disco Dance Rebellion".

The Sophomore, Book 1 (Determinant)

After finding James stressed in the library, you have the opportunity to invite him out rollerskating to help him relax and get a change of scenery.

Red Carpet Diaries, Book 2 (Determinant)

In Chapter 4, if Your Character (Red Carpet Diaries) decides to go out with Seth Levine, you two hit a barcade. Seth loves the game "Chomp-Man" but when it is occupied, you team up to play "Street Brawler".

Rules of Engagement, Book 2 (Determinant)

If Brother decides to go to the arcade with Elena Sanchez, they play "The Crown and The Flame" video game.

The Royal Romance, Book 3 (Determinant)

In Chapter 8, if Your Character (The Royal Romance) decides to go on a movie date with her fiance/e, they go to a movie theater which is connected to an arcade. If your fiance is King "Liam" Rys, he plays a round on the toy crane machine to win you a prize. If your fiance is Drake Walker, you two play a game of "City Warrior 3". If your fiancee is Hana Lee, you two play a game of "Vegetable Viking". If your fiance is Maxwell Beaumont, you two play a round of "Disco Dance Rebellion".

LoveHacks

In Book 1, Chapter 11, the Main Character (LoveHacks) goes on a date with Ben Park to the arcade as part of her "10 Guys You Date In Your Twenties" article. There they compete in a dance-platform game.

In Book 1, Chapter 16, if Horatio Santos asks Tara on a date, Tara takes him to the "Holy Roller", a roller rink with an arcade attached.

In Book 2, Chapter 12, if Cole decides to go through the videos on his phone to figure out what he did before he mailed his future self his phone, he had found Tara at her roller rink / arcade and given her his phone there.

High School Story, Book 1

Your Character (High School Story) and the gang go looking for Caleb Mitchell in the arcade, where you challenge Sakura Watanabe in a dance revolution game to get more information on his whereabouts. Later, you have the opportunity to help Aiden Zhou overcome his creative block by taking him rollerskating.

High School Story: Class Act, Book 2 (Determinant)

In a premium Chapter 7 scene, Your Character (High School Story: Class Act), Rory Silva, and Skye Crandall take Ajay Bhandari to the arcade to help him relax and get his mind off of his parents' divorce.

It Lives Beneath (Determinant)

Your Character (It Lives Beneath) can choose to go to the arcade bar with Tom Sato when you return to Westchester to do some research. He mentions that the bar is newly constructed.

Ms. Match (Determinant)

In Chapter 5, if Your Character (Ms. Match) decides to help her father drum up business for his bar, Rival Matchmaker takes you to the arcade to recruit customers.

Immortal Desires, Book 1

In Chapter 4, Gabe takes the main character to town's arcade.
