Relationships
Your Character
He/she is one of your love interests, and after he/she fires the culinary producer, he/she wants to hire you for the position. Sometimes the way you talk to him/her can affect your relationship. You can either be kind, sassy, or tough with him/her. He/she is hurt when he finds out Zara has been telling you to provoke him/her for ratings.
When Everett/Yvette leaves Morocco without telling anyone, you and the crew track him/her down to St. Lucia and you persuade Zara to film an episode around Everett/Yvette's mother's and sister's restaurant. You believe a heartwarming episode would bring the show full circle but also give you time to persuade Everett/Yvette to return. He/she is angry with you for bringing his/her family, as he/she spent his/her career trying to keep them out of the limelight. You can help mend his/her relationship with his/her mother and sister.
Nasim Monsoor
Nasim is his/her ex-fiancée. Everett/Yvette reveals this if you take the premium scene where you stroll through the Rikugi-en Gardens where he/she also tells you that Nasim had an affair with someone which ended their relationship. They were together for three years and broke up over a year ago.
Renee Rampersad
Renee is Everett/Yvette's older sister. In the beginning, she has mixed emotions regarding Everett/Yvette. While she is upset with Everett/Yvette for not helping the family with his/her fame and fortune, she also wants the family's restaurant Sa Ka Fete to stand on its own and doesn't want customers there only for the chance of seeing Everett/Yvette. If you decide to help her with her recipe, she says that she and Everett/Yvette used to be best friends.
Everett/Yvette sees it differently. He/she didn't want his/her family to be touched and tainted by Hollywood's glitz and glamour. He/she wanted his/her family to stay out of the limelight and have a "normal" life. Everett/Yvette had seen what had happened when his/her mentor quit FoodFlix. Reporters continued to hound his family, including his children at school; and Everett/Yvette did not want that to happen to his/her own family.
You can help them mend their relationship. You can also ask his/her mother and sister about embarrassing Everett/Yvette moments. When Everett/Yvette was four years old, he/she saw a turtle on the beach, screamed and ran. One time when he/she was trying to make a cake, it did not rise properly in the oven. Everett/Yvette punched the cake for failing.
Antoine Duval
Antoine Duval is Everett/Yvette's professional rival. They were on the televised competition The Knife's Edge together, and Antoine's behavior taught Everett/Yvette everything not to do. He/she saw how Antoine treated his team, who walked on eggshells working with him. They did not know if they were going to get the screaming, cursing Antoine or the pleasant, calm Antoine on each day they worked. Everett/Yvette knew he/she could be tough and hold high standards, but he/she didn't want to terrorize his/her staff.
