On December 4, 2020, the book was released with the first three chapters already being available.
On December 28, 2020, PB released a blogpost talking about this book and their plan on other translations, also saying they're hoping to branch out into other languages in the future.[1]
Trivia
The Royal Romance, Book 1 is the first book to be translated into a foreign language, Spanish, as El Romance Real, Libro 1.
This is the first weekly book to release more than 2 chapters at launch.
This book uses the costumes/outfits from the original The Royal Romance, Book 1. That is, the new masquerade costumes that appeared in the June 2020 update of The Royal Romance, Book 1, Chapters 2 through 4 do not appear in this book.
Premium purchases made in The Royal Romance, Book 1 do not carry over to this book.
In its premiere launch on December 4, 2020, certain character names were changed. Maxwell and Bertrand Beaumont, became "Máximo" and "Beltrán" respectively; King Constantine became "Constantino"; and Penelope became "Penélope". On December 12, 2020, their names on their title cards were reverted to their original English counterparts; however, in dialogue, Bertrand remains as "Beltrán". Savannah is also referred in-game as "Susana". Susana is still on Chapter 7 and Constantino is still on Chapter 10.
However, starting in Chapter 11, King Constantine & Savannah's English names are all used in the dialogues.
There were no new chapters released on December 25, 2020 and January 1, 2021.
The following chapters have slightly different titles between the interface/index and the first page. On the wiki, we use the in-game first page title rather than the interface/index title:

There is a major in-game error with several chapters where the word "máximo" is "Maxwell" when they updated his name to the English counterpart for the earlier chapters. The newer chapters have also not been changed since their debut.
There is an in-game error with Chapter 14. It lists the title as "Capítulo quince", which translates to "Chapter 15" not Chapter 14.
The (current as of Jan. 17, 2020) error of switching horse models remains from The Royal Romance, Book 1 where Chapter 13's Estrella Plateada, Brasa Otoñal, and Chapter 16's Apple Blossom feature the incorrect models; that is the chestnut-colored Copper Bay horse is shown as the Dapple Grey and vice versa.
As of January 25, 2022, this book does not have the photo wall that was released around September 16, 2021 to all players in the English version.
On January 13, 2023, this has changed and the photo wall is now available.
