Eiko, a character in Mother of the Year book, is a fourth grade science teacher at Bernhardt Academy and one of your character's love interests. She is first seen in Chapter 1.
Appearance
Eiko has brown eyes, short black hair, and tan skin. She wears a red v-neck blouse, black blazer, and gold necklace.
Personality
Eiko has a sweet, outgoing and energetic personality, she immediately warms up to your character when you meet her in the class, during your daughters first day at school.
She genuinely cares about her students and your character. Eiko calls herself Bernhardt's resident super nerd.

Your Character
On your first day at Bernhardt Academy, Eiko warns you about the PTA. When you bring up that your daughter had been bullied, Eiko was unaware but tells you to let her know as soon as it happens because she doesn't stand for that behavior in her classes.

Eiko is your daughter's science teacher.
Vanessa Blackwood
In Chapter 11, Eiko defends Your Character from Vanessa and angrily gives her her honest opinion on Vanessa's way of raising her children - and in return, Vanessa gets angry as well and accidentally outs her in front of the other parents.

- She has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.[1]
- She went to grad school with the goal of creating a wearable heart monitor that could stick on like a band-aid.
- She also worked for the head of her department in college, ghost-writing research papers for him to publish and take credit for.
- She rides a cherry-red motorcycle, which she calls her "vehicular life-partner" named Ada.
- In Chapter 4, it is mentioned she has an ex-girlfriend who is allergic to peanuts. She also reveals that she hasn't "come out" to the PTA, meaning they don't know she's LGBT.
- In the same chapter, if you talk about music being your passion in a premium scene, she will say she played the trombone for two years in marching band.
- Her hobbies include weekend rock-climbing and attending welding classes on Thursdays.
- She has a heart condition that runs in her family. It usually doesn't manifest until middle age, but hers came on during her grad school studies.
