Your Character
When you arrive back at Cedarport after graduating college, you run into Eddie at the town meeting that addresses the die-off. In Chapter 5, you two argue about what is best for the town. He feels that you are upset because he is prioritizing a job that he worked hard to get. When you try to calm down, he says that Charlie's proposal puts him in a weird spot. He cares about you and Charlie, but he also cares about his job. You wonder why he seems reluctant to support Charlie's initiative.
In Chapter 7, he tells you that he was unaware of the article that Monteverde had printed about Charlie. He says that he needs the job more than the job needs him and it is his ticket to getting out of Cedarport. He isn't trying to take sides; he is just trying to survive. He argues you that being right cannot put food on the table and asks you what your family plans on doing if they cannot fish any longer.
In Chapter 9, Eddie reveals to you that Monteverde has been dumping fertilizer into the sea, which caused the die-off. He apologizes for not supporting you and says he plans to resign from Monteverde. You tell him not to, so he can be your "inside man" in the company. In Chapter 10, he tells you that Monteverde hired someone to wreck your family's property. He overheard one of the executives laughing about it, and found some paperwork for a contractor that is a fake consulting company. He finds out that they had been contracted before by Monteverde, most likely to vandalize your car.
In Chapter 11, he joins your protest to Rafferty's surprise.
Charlie
He thinks of Charlie like a little sister.
Warner Rafferty
Eddie is Monteverde's newest investment associate. He tells you that he trusts Warner to know what he's talking about - that the proposed business regulations for clean energy are too extreme - since Warner has been involved in business longer than the two of you. When you ask him to think about the proposal, he tells you that he doesn't have much sway in the company and can't promise anything. He thinks that Monteverde has already shown a lot of concern for Cedarport.
In Chapter 12, after Rafferty quits, Eddie remains at Monteverde, doing what he can to reform it. He now leads their newly-formed Environmental Department.
