Captain Dana Beckham, a character in the Most Wanted book, is the Captain of the L.A.P.D. Major Crimes Unit. She is first seen in Book 1, Chapter 1.
Appearance
Dana has black eyes and dark skin. Her hair is short, black and curly. She wears a captain's uniform.
Personality
As Captain, she exudes a strict, authoritative, and intimidating demeanor. She demands perfection and efficiency from her subordinates, chastising any sign of incompetence or disobedience. Despite this, Beckham is willing to compromise and pay credit where it is due.
Beckham values her team highly as seen when, to ease liability, she tossed Samantha Massey off the John Tull case after the investigation became too delicate when Hayley Rose became involved.

Samantha Massey
Beckham does not hold Sam in the same high regard as she does to Dave. However, after Sam displayed humility following their first failure at catching John Tull, she gave her another chance. When she failed again at catching Tull as a result of disobeying direct orders, she washed her hands off her and left Sam to appeal to the Marshals.
Mirasol Bautista
Mirasol is one of Beckham's subordinates, working as the criminal profiler for the Major Crimes Unit.
Nikhil Mantha
Nikhil is one of Beckham's subordinates, working as the forensic specialist for the Major Crimes Unit.

- An unnamed fire user, who resisted Azura's first incursions into the Five Kingdoms, was given the same character model as her in a premium scene of The Crown & The Flame, Book 3.
